Sikhism has some beautiful humanistic qualities. I especially love the way how Sikhs welcome anyone into their Gurduwara's and give them free food and drink. However, Sikhism is really only an 'ethnic' religion and practiced by a small group of people mainly in the Indian subcontinent. It doesn't really play any part on the world stage. Since it comes from Hinduism, it retains ideas about the caste system which is a way of dividing people. That is why I think of it as really just a cult of good well meaning people and something which cannot be the true religion.

In my opinion when you talk to any none muslim and if he has no specific question and wants to know about islam , start with the creation of our father Adams and how satan refuse to make sujood to adams , and how Allah cursed satan because of his refusal to obey Allah, then Allah said satan is the enemy of Adams , to make it short you know the story ..., after than Adams was descended to the earth and Allah said I will send guidance(prophets and messengers) with pure message (islam) and who will follow thatmessage and obey me with come again to paradise and who disobey will go to hellfire , and that is the covenant between Allah and his creations , and you can continue after that explaining islam in more details ..

Jaystar2222 C im sorry you have the misconception that the religion is “strict” but it is definitely not wrong to say its a way of life. Muslims remember Allah in everything they do, I dont know how it could not be.
Sikhism has some beautiful humanistic qualities. I especially love the way how Sikhs welcome anyone into their Gurduwara's and give them free food and drink. However, Sikhism is really only an 'ethnic' religion and practiced by a small group of people mainly in the Indian subcontinent. It doesn't really play any part on the world stage. Since it comes from Hinduism, it retains ideas about the caste system which is a way of dividing people. That is why I think of it as really just a cult of good well meaning people and something which cannot be the true religion.
