I got a 2014 tundra 5.7 that the p0307 code is still coming up. I replaced all spark plugs, cleaned up all injectors on driver side ( cylinder 7 included) replaced injectors spot from cylinder 7 to 1 , checked and cleaned pcv valve. Changed coils 7 with 4. But still getting misfires on cylinder 7 when the truck is cold., also I’m losing coolant that I can’t see from where is dripping! Can that be a head gasket problem??
interesting, I have the same code on my 2010 Tundra too.. p007 plus p006 & p008. today it read only the P007. when my rad started to leak I did the colour test where if the fluid goes from blue to yellow if your gasket is blown.
The timing being off can cause issues, but all the misfire codes seem to be on the Bank-1 side of the engine. I would test the 02 sensor and other components on Bank-1.
@@HVAC_Mechanic ah so possibly an )2 sensor. That makes sense and my exaust was looking wired before this happened and was chugging and missing till it came to a hault.
If you have an OBDII scan tool, look at the 02 sensor fuel trims on Bank-1, which can help point to the issue and see if they are working correctly or not.
I have a 2008 Aspen Hemi 5.7 and it continues to read the same codes P0300 and P0307 it’s also been shaking a lot and turns off out of nowhere when driving it. I’ve also already replaced all the spark plugs and fuel injector. I honestly don’t know what else to do man.
I just bought used Dodge Journey with 3.6 and it shows p0307 error code. My concern is this engine have only six cylinders. What it should mean when it says "injector circuit - 7 cylinder" ?
The computer sees an issue with the Cylinder 7 injector or circuit. I made a video on how to test this issue and find the problem. Here is a link. ua-cam.com/video/JL4_HlYCKrw/v-deo.html
I just bought this 97 mustang gt only one code pops up P0307 when I turn on the car you can't hear any misfire but when driving you can like sometimes when I'm getting to 30mph you can start to feel the car feeling a Little weird almost like sluggish so I let off then go back in it easily n it will pass 30 mph without it feeling sluggish then sometimes it won't feel like that getting to 30mph it'll feel like that getting to 40 mph but that's the only time I feel the car having an issue
Often with V8 engines one cylinder misfiring is not too noticeable with the engine more sluggish than usual. Cylinder 7 likely has an issue and needs fixed.
You likely can drive it, but it will have less power and use more gas. It could cause other issues; for example, if the injector is bad and dumping fuel in the exhaust, it can clog the catalytic converter. I would get it fixed.
Did you ever get it fixed? I have a 02 mustang v6 and anytime it's done that it has always been the spark plug / coils needing changing. That would fix it right up
I work at a ford dealership I just bought my Camaro 2 weeks ago. The engine started shaking I took it in and had our Chevy tech look at it. Here is his diag: FOUND OIL ON CYLINDER 7 SPARK PLUG AND OIL ON TOP OF CYLINDER 7 PISTON PISTON INSPECTION FOUND RINGS HAVE FAILED AND ENGINE OIL IS ENTERING THE COMBUSTION We replaced all 8 spark plugs the boot and wiring and the engine started shaking more. How fucked am I CHAMBER
If the rings are failing, the engine will need to be rebuilt to fix it. It should still run for a short while until the plugs foul out unless there is a very bad leak.

Could this be a timing chain issue on a 03 tundra if im getting P0300 p0301,p0303, p0305, p0307?

Thank you for this video! Hopefully mine is a simple fix.

@@HVAC_Mechanic Thank you.
@@HVAC_MechanicThough my engine has only 6 cilinders. So logically it has 6 injections. But scanner shows problem on cilinder 7 . What is cilinder 7?
Thank you
Hi, what if misfire occurs in middle to high reving, is this electrical issue?
It could be a weak coil
@@HVAC_Mechanic hi it's a sym scooter 125 cc, you mean the stator coil ?

@ yea I switched the spark plug and changed the 8mm coil wires for some 9mm ones and then I put some screaming demon coil distributor as well
