There’s no cheat day stop quite like the donut shop so we visited 3 top-rated donut destinations in Rhode Island, USA to see which establishment is frying up the perfect doughsserts!
Eating everything from the biggest trendy, over-the-top gourmet donuts to the classic mom & pop shop offerings, our quest for the best donuts landed us at nearly 3 dozen donuts which is easily the most we’ve eaten of them since our 100 Krispy Kreme Donuts food challenge a few years ago, lol.

Usually I get irritated when someone tries to find "the best" and they only go to a few places and don't compare the same flavour or explain the differences. You did it all!!! I really enjoy these longer form, "destination" videos. I think you guys have really taken a creative step, in the right direction. The tasting/MUKBANG videos have their place, but these seem more professional and I hope they push you guys over the hump. Mom and Pop will almost always be superior. You don’t need that instagram-able “wow” factor. All that matters is taste and quality. Best donuts I eat are simple, but just do it perfectly right. You need nothing else.

I’m from New England could you do a NE roadtrip and visit as many small diners as you can and rate the most common breakfast items, lunch items, and dinner items + one dish unique to each diner for each category.
As a doughnut lover, I'll always go mom and pop shop.
Being a fellow Rhode Islander, I have to say Allies are the best! Definitely give them a try if you are in the neighborhood, but be prepared to wait in line. They are worth it though!

That was a great video guys. To be honest, I am not a huge fan of PV donuts. 😮 I think it’s the brioche that I don’t care for and i have never tried Knead….but Allie’s takes me back to when I was a kid and we would stop there on the way to the beaches. I know it sounds crazy, but I love all the different colors of sprinkles they have because I love to get a blue sprinkle and a purple sprinkle donut and i especially love them because they are frosted with vanilla instead of chocolate. thanks a lot lol now I have to make a trip to Allie’s😂😂 Loved this video!

So funny, I just started following you guys the other day and I didn't realize you were in my hood. I have a rule that if I'm over the bridge and Allie's is open, I have to get a Maple. I still have yet to get anything from PVDonuts because the line was insane every time I tried to go. I gotta get that cookie sandwich though. I LOVE Knead too. During the holidays, they have this insane Chocolate candy cane peppermint glaze. It is probably my favorite donut ever and it can be successfully frozen without losing quality so I can hoard them. Lol

I love supporting local small businesses but those PVDonuts are GORGEOUS! Y'all know I would smash that carrot cake in a heartbeat 😍 Apple fritters are my favorite, how could they decide to not just add cinnamon sugar to one of those? I have always wanted to try a fritter of a different fruit variety so that raspberry fritter is calling to me! I've actually never had Krispy Kreme donuts and only Dunkin's donuts once but I would pick Allie's donuts over both of those

my favorite donuts are from a local place in the midwest with just a few locations, their original glazed simply CANNOT be beat by any common chain. closest i’ve had was from shipleys in texas! i’ve recently moved 2.5 hours away from my childhood donut place, i hope maybe sometime in the future i’ll be able to try allie’s! thanks for the awesome video :)

I find this video really fun! I like donuts a lot, maybe as much as the next person, but watching you eat all of these in one day made me sick (and I wasn't even there!). Props to you! You must eat a lot for each video!
One small nitpick as a person in the movie industry, I'd like to see you edit in a calorie counter on the top/bottom somewhere or a graphic for each item you eat and the total amount at the end! Maybe this is something you can implement for each video going forward (for all those curious, the health snobs, and information geeks). Again, great video!

In regards to the second part, If you check out all of our old food challenges we always did out countless calorie/macro updates throughout the videos.
For videos like this where everything is local, it’s impossible for us to accurately display those calories and the estimates would be SO far off unless we were to literally bring a food scale and weigh everything out beforehand (which we’re not going to do lol) that it would be pointless to even have them in there. That’s why for a video like this we don’t make it a “challenge” and don’t make it at all about the calories being consumed. If it’s a a challenge style video where nutrition information is available for the products we make sure to include that into the overall presentation of the video 🙏
