looking at this and the newly release twinsomnia, i can hear some parts use as a base for the new songs. for the song your move, the dialogue "your move" is to inform the player to sing first but for Roughhouse a sudden point but no dialogue removing the voice completely
And y'know, because they can shapeshift and all, it'd be fun to have a bonus song with the old versions, maybe them popping in when Bf gets older to match his design here!

The third song of this unfortunately cancelled mod shows *FAR MORE* personality out of Boy and Girl in a such a manner that i really don't think *ANY* mod has come close to. It's so fluid and fun to see the two fighting over who gets to sing the next verse and go right back to happily bouncing as they await the next turn. Their sprites are so uniquely done in showing the little "tussle" they engage during their actual singing. It's just so incredible the amount of life and vibrancy those two have, and what a tremendous shame it is that we'll never get their final finished product
Pacifier is probably the quietest FNF song. Also I'm assuming the story here is that it's BF's bedtime and he's bored, so he has a rap battle with his imaginary friends, Boy and Girl.
I think the creator said that the characters are meant to chase away monsters and let children sleep, but bf doesn't want to sleep so they rap battle him to tire him out.

Sad that this a canceled mod from sock but at least this High Effort version was able to give us there remains of their "would-have-been" masterpiece. I have an idea for a continuation of this mod, and it involves the more scarier mod enemies. Tricky, Gold, and Lord X. Here's how it would go... Song name: *Broken Dreams.* Girl, with a worried look on her face, indicating that she senses something is wrong, sings her part with BF with an almost worried tone, and to make things worse, her part is short, this is all to give the player a sense of dread, as the blissful good night is slowly slipping away... This is when "Gold's" part comes in, with motifs of songs that are from the Hypno mod. I.e Left Unchecked, Monochrome (obvious), and even a little bit of Missingno. Also, I say "Gold" in quotes because he, as well as the rest of the nightmarish characters aren't the actual characters, but more of manifestations of those memories where those characters are present. Anyway, after Gold's part is done it goes back to Girl, where she is trying to keep BF from thinking about those memories, but fails to do so because BF is a dumbass that refuses to listen to reason. Next, "Tricky." His part of the song of course has motifs of songs that are from Madness combat related mods, i.e. Madness, HELLCLOWN... fuck I forgot the names of the others, but you get it. Then after "Tricky's" part, Boy comes in as a sort of damage control, since both Boy and Girl now realize what kind of peanut brain person their dealing with... And now... *Lord X.* Lord X doesn't have his name in quotes, because he was the one that planned this whole thing. His part of the song is basically a shorter version of Fate, (the unused song in the Sonic.exe mod.) His part is the most intense, with not only motifs from the Sonic.exe mod, but also the other characters. But this plan of Lord X's, trying to put BF in a neverending hellscape inside his own mind, would backfire, as all that rapping is more than enough to put BF to sleep, while Lord X is baffled by this, Boy pops up behind him, cracks his knuckles, and then fights Lord X in a cartoony Loony Tunes-sque cloud, sending them both tumbling off the bed. It fades to black, and all we hear is Girl singing with a music coming from a music box in the background. BF doesn't sing in this last part, and in this last part Girl actually drains her OWN health. She knows BF likes to win, so giving BF an easy victory by draining her own health is a good way to further sooth BF into a good night sleep... :) Hope y'all enjoyed the read!

Returning to this after 6 months, I can hear some of the bits they used at the released version. As much as I love this old version, the new version did them justice.
I definitely like the new version of the Twinsomnia mod but there is one thing I like a bit more about this original version and that's Boy n Girl "fighting" over who gets to sing in the third song. I wish they'd kept that aspect in Power Hour.
So, after i discovered everything about twinsomnia, the final version, seeing the early build is awesome. The songs feel very close to the final ones, and my favorite song out of the early ones is sleepy-talk, the first one. It reminds me of all of my happy times when i was little, or even nowadays ! This is one of my favorite mods. Love it. Btw, it's so weared seeing BF without his cap, you'd think he has a big head, but no.

I vividly remember Nate talking about one of their other upcoming mods, talking about how they would post the music since it was also cancelled, but I don't think they ever really did. At least, not in a completely public space. Regardless, I feel like if this actually released, it would've been yet another instant classic, just like Whitty. The music is so nice to hear, just everything about the presentation of this mod screams iconic.

My headcannon for this mod is that the Girl and Boy are muses, spirits who inspire creativity, and they found this little boy called Boyfriend. They chose to teach him the way of song in the secrecy of night, playing little rap battles as a way to teach him. Each night, they take turns teaching him between soft/slow and strong/fast. Then comes the final night, the metaphorical final exam, and the two are just waaaaaaaaaaay too excited to see how far little Boyfriend came along. This is also the last song they will be playing together, hence why it’s Lulla”byebye.” The two basically chose to bless BF, and he thus becomes a rapping sensation who can seemingly out rap almost anyone! But that’s just my silly excuse of a plot for them being there every night on his bed.
The mod has changed a lot for the better. The only things I regret from this mod is Boy saying "Your move !" That was cool as hell, and the fighting between Boy and Girl in the third song, especially if we consider the fourth song of the new mod, where they would have to stop fighting and team up in order to help BF and fight the Boogieman. Actually yeah they speak a lot more in this and it's a bit sad that they don't throw lines like that during the songs in the final mod. Since they have voicelines, it would have been so cool if they could have replied to Boogieman with lyrics as well.
You literally read my mind, pal! I wish Girl said "poor boy!" before revealing herself in Sleeptalk. It aslo would be cool if Boy said "Let's see what you got!" while cracking his neck in Power-hour, and when BF gets sleepy, Girl can say "...We're almost done!" Twinsomnia is a beatiful mod, too bad they didn't keep those voice lines :(
FNF literally traumatized me so hard cause of like 4 mods,than now when i see cute design/characters or characters with simple design or wide eyes,i expect a freaking creepypasta mod and before listening to the music/watching the mod,i just check parts of it via preview to see if im gonna get dumb jumpscared mid song
My two complaints are that the vocals are a little quiet and are sometimes can be hard to hear with the background music and that this wasn’t released 😭. I love the the music and the character design. Boy and girl’s poses are hilarious in Lullabyebye and their little vocal lines are so cool.

Since a lot of people don't know, this is an early version of Twinsomnia before it was even named as such. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think one of the devs did something bad so they had to cancel. They rebranded a bit after until we got the Twinsomnia we all know and love.

This popped up in my recommendations, and I realized Twinsomnia has a lot of the parts from these songs in the new songs!
Compared the new version, this mod has slower music that sounds more like vs whitty's. I also like old boy better
Old boy just reminds me of snap from chalkzone-
I kinda like the old power hour sprites where they cover who ever is not singing’s mouths
I just love how og Boy kinda looks like Snap from ChalkZone
The mod has changed a lot for the better. The only things I regret from this mod is Boy saying "Your move !" That was cool as hell, and the fighting between Boy and Girl in the third song, especially if we consider the fourth song of the new mod, where they would have to stop fighting and team up in order to help BF and fight the Boogieman. Actually yeah they speak a lot more in this and it's a bit sad that they don't throw lines like that during the songs in the final mod. Since they have voicelines, it would have been so cool if they could have replied to Boogieman with lyrics as well.

It aslo would be cool if Boy said "Let's see what you got!" while cracking his neck in Power-hour, and when BF gets sleepy, Girl can say "...We're almost done!"

Funny enough I did actually fall asleep listening to this once.
My two complaints are that the vocals are a little quiet and are sometimes can be hard to hear with the background music and that this wasn’t released 😭. I love the the music and the character design. Boy and girl’s poses are hilarious in Lullabyebye and their little vocal lines are so cool.

Since a lot of people don't know, this is an early version of Twinsomnia before it was even named as such. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think one of the devs did something bad so they had to cancel. They rebranded a bit after until we got the Twinsomnia we all know and love.
