Those of you who were eagle-eyed in Heat 5 of this series involving the Powerball Collision with Lisa & Zodiac may have also notice Dr. Tim Anstiss there as one of the Gladiators doctors checking Lisa at the time of the incident.
I know ive probably mentioned this in another video, but did anyone else notice how they put the heat 3 and heat 4 winners in the 3rd quarter final, and the heat 5 and heat 6 winners in the 2nd quarter final, it should have been the other way round does anyone else know why they did that?
Does anyone know of any other situations when The Eliminator wasn't played for either the women or men, I know that in later series when they added best eliminator times they had to do solo runs.
45:22 In hindsight this was a travesty of a decision: "Our roid-raged gladiator who literally just broke his own weapon has also just broke your hand. I'm afraid that means you're disqualified."
He couldn't run the Eliminator and it was too late for a substitution. What were they supposed to do? Let him through to the next round and eliminate Tim? It wasn't Tim's fault Shadow was reckless.
So before the eliminator John says Georgina won 4 events in a row. I'm assuming they aired out of order as she scored less on Danger zone, Gauntlet and Joust. So that only leaves 3 which aired as 2, 4 and 5.
I reckon the events are easier to set up in a certain sequence to reduce set up time for filming (and audience, participants, cast and crew consideration) purposes, and sometimes events end up being filmed out of sequence. The last event to be filmed will of course be the Eliminator, of which you can see several parts suspended from the rigging in the arena ceiling in certain shots during each episode, most notably the Travelator.
You're naive if you don't think they were all on the sauce. It was literally their job to be the biggest, fastest and strongest they could be. Shadow was just the scapegoat.
@@tourous4life None really, she was ok at a few events but wasn't really that good at any of them either. They tried making Atlaspheres her specialist event but there was Gladiators better than her at it and it got used alot less after Season 1.
After booking John fash who had the personality of a sponge and the dress sense of I have no words ...we now have the introduction of the beyond unnecessary Awooga Wtf goes it even mean Ulrica was so plastic in the first season and sounded like a bad imression of HM The Queen but she really did improve this season At least he stopped manhandling all the contestants but if there's an award for foot in mouth/irritating and upsetting comments to contenders/really bad at the job...he wins hands down. It's painful watching him back
I like how even the announcer calls Joust boring.
Shadow was ferocious at the striking events. Joust was notoriously difficult to knock contenders off. I mean he broke the guy’s hand!
Amazing at what you can do when you're on 'roids.
A perfect double for Wolf. One of the rare times we dont get to see a 'tantrum'
A real good day in the office for Wolf. Two quick KOs, with one against a larger man.
Looking back now Wolf was really good across multiple events
I love how offended and confused Fash always seems to be when someone mentions their hobby
29:21 Wolf really had dynamite in his hammerhead!!!
I grew up with American gladiators just discovered the UK version it really is superior to the American version the production value is way better

31:03 That coy smile was so beautiful. :P
She looks a bit like today's Fury there
30:49 Very sudden, very drastic mood change there!!!! Glorious, amazonian woman, though!!!
Warrior Does Danger Zone Very Clever
33:23 That Man Shadow
Except (and i won't spoiler it just now) that first Quarter final line-up didn't exactly turn out like that.
22:00 What a powerhouse he was.
I feel like Georgina and Serlene are the favourites from the women and Phil and Dean from the men.
I didn't like serliene to cocky and full of herself.. loves herself to much
I thought Helen and Pauline Oliver would've been considered the favourites from the women.
5:33 John Fashanu very judgy about bonsai trees
Was this one of the episodes where Shadow and Cobra had been on the lash?? 😅
Gldiators this is great game
It was the best show alright I wish it would come back on tv..

This is one of the shows that was definitely worth watching back then it is all just totally rubbish nowadays
georgina cheeky comments about practicing

In JOUST it looked liked Chris landed on his hand when he fell off the skybike, wonder if that's what caused the injury

18:24 He might've been a hunter, but he was the one who was the prey when "belly got him". :(
The only qualifying heat in Series 2 in which Powerball was not played.
19:11 Did Falcon and Panther switch positions?
in the lineup, Falcon appears first but then during the event Panther is first
More Gladiators gameshow on you tube please and when is gladiators gameshow back on challenge and I am missing this programme
Coming back on Saturday :)
Vicky is still awesome though ❤️
25:44 I don't buy Falcon being a stone heavier than Jet, especially with them being roughly the same height.
33:26 Shadows lats were so big, he couldn't hold his arms straight down at his sides!!!! Either that, or he badly needed the toilet!
You're just jealous.
Cope better you little boy 🥱🥱😭😭
@@MrMikeyj81 I'll try. I should remember with my diminutive size to use my speed advantage on these much bigger men!!
Shame Chris went out the way he did as I'm sure he had the speed advantage of Tim too
My gladiator wants to run Georgina's gauntlet
38:16 Strange how Shadow had a black club for this event, but Nightshade had a red one, like her contenders!!!!!
6:19 She wore the eye of horus on her gauntlet armour, and she gave a triple 6 gesture here. :(
Why is there 3 gladiators in the gauntlet now they making it too easy lol
If they thought 2024 was easy they forgot this abomination existed, glad it was improved in 1994

When you look at it after the fact it is so obvious that Shadow was juicing.
Pretty sure nearly all of the blokes were juicing tbh
You're naive if you don't think they were all on the sauce. It was literally their job to be the biggest, fastest and strongest they could be. Shadow was just the scapegoat.
@@RexBanner_ yeah you don't get people at Hunter's size at his age without at least a little bit of juicing.
@@KaiserRika Not a little bit they were juiced up to the eyeballs including some of the female gladiators lol
Panther really wasn't good at Gauntlet

Zodiac goes (win-loss-draw) 2-10-2 after the first event. A win % of 16... Hot but not very good.
It was probably that collision of heads in powerball that time that ruined her season for her!!!!!!
Zodiac is absolute trash. She should have been fired.
@@RexBanner_ She was the best female Gladiator in Season 4. She got better.

He’s appalling. The way he says “fourteen THAWSANNND POUNNNNDDDSSS”… 🤢
