the original show was closed for all known reasons, and the commercial "phoenix rising" did not gather the necessary responses and the studios did not invest in the revival of this franchise. maybe someday Hollywood will run out of ideas, and they will remember about Captain Power.

The only thing was it seemed the second season from what I read of it didn't seem like it would have been as good as the first season. I think dr. Power and jennifer should both be brought back, they goto the passages and get some people to come back and secretly rebuild a new base, and then the ending of the story should be that they developed a chemical weapon that would permanently over mind and the biodreads then destroy castle Volcania like the Luke Skywalker destroyed the space station in Star Wars A New Hope. The only drawback would be the ending of all the rest of the people that were digitized and stored in overmind.
One can easily compare the production quality of this with such series as Clone Wars, Rebels, or the cut scenes of AAA videogames on modern consoles and perhaps find the flaws. But when one realizes this is the passion project of a VERY small group of people, done for fun and for free -- and shouldered by one person alone working as a central hub for all of the research, scripting, storyboarding, vocal direction, weapons use, fight choreography, musical implementation , rendering, and about 100 other things that studios like LucasFilm spend hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars on; with legions of professional workers.....when one sees this 39 minute epic in its entirety; as completely engaging, exciting, emotional, character driven, and painstakingly integral to its source material, all done with heart and respect for the original creators..... it makes it that much more impressive. Doing the voices of Captain Power and Lord Dread has got to be one of the proudest things I've done in my entire entertainment career. And I hope to hell that Roman gets the recognition, resources, praise and allies to make the next installment of this amazing story....that began so many years ago on the tube televisions of the 80's. I woke up at 6:30 every morning with my Mattel Phantom Stryker ready to exchange fire with the TV interactive people and machines that made this such a unique part of our nostalgia. Let's not forget that this too continues the story of a character (Jennifer "Jane" Pilot Chase) that was near, dear and personal to writer J. Michael Straczynski; and I hope he can see how his narrative inspired this continuation of that story, conceived decades ago. This may seem like a lot of writing, but I assure you it is NOTHING compared to the hundreds of hours of toil and effort that Roman put into this. May it serve as a testament to not only his perseverance and talent, but so many people from the past that gave us something truly special and dear to our hearts.

There are small friezes in the opening credits, this is because I used video material from the last cartoon. There may be a problem with the frame rate or something else. The cartoon turned out to be big in its duration, I could have missed something else.

Love the new Lord Dread, now more machine than man, and looked similar to the Season 2 version if it went to fruition. Also love the addition of Stingray, and a shocking twist of what happened to Pilot!!! Power On!!!

Great, great work! Pity it's not longer, like 20-30 hours worth of "season 2" in cartoon. Dissapointingly low number of views, 2.5k in a year, that's unbelievable. One sees crap that i would not mention here to get views of a million in a month or two; ridiculous really. The Cpt Power franchise is very dear to me, the series was one of the very first sci-fi movies i saw, as a child, fell for it immediately. So was for millions of other people. I remember we've even played Cpt Power in the schoolyard, Soaron got the worst of it, had to jump off a tree with his jacket stretched "flying" while other kids ( Power team) snowballing him ...

I loved the addition of Stingray myself. If there's a continuation to this movie, it should include Chip "TNT" Morrow (also known as Andy Jackson) and Christine "Ranger" O'Connor as these two warriors would join the "Soldiers of the Future" if Season 2 happened.

👏👏👏👏 The pacing and the banter is reminiscent to the original series and such a great nod to the show! Amazing work! I liked you worked in captain's dialogue "we haven't finished our talk," and Silvera just responded the familiar last words. Oh my goosebumps! Dred's dialogue to Silvera inside the tunnel saying that her "essence was to give." Man, that was horrific to hear. Once, again Jennifer's defiance showed towards the end against Blastaar. Great cliffhanger too, Tritor escaping.
When the captain realizes that Silver is Jennifer. Silvera has short circuits due to damage. She starts saying phrases from the series. These are all Jennifer's words from the original series.

Dredd with your metallic voice is just perfect. and the dialogue between my Grandfather and the captain is the most interesting scene for me when you talk to yourself. I was interested in doing it.(As Eddie Murphy does when he plays several characters at once).😉
The visuals were incredible. This was one of my favorite shows growing up in the 80s and your work did it justice. My only issue? The background music was really loud. It drowned out the dialogue especially during the action scenes. But thank you for the video. I hope you make many more.

STINGRAY!!! Oh, man, I hoped for this. Thank you. POWER ON! Nice to see Jonathan is getting as heartless and Judge Dredd like as JMS envisioned. Seeing the more graphic and horrifying imagery was a welcome gut punch, and I hold true to the future of this Power. I await future episodes.

The imagery of Pilot's corpse falling forward out of the cyborg's shell...that was intense. I hope she survived. With the Power Base gone, the Soldiers are going to have to look for new digs. I think that the interactivity of toys of the 80s was based on bright flashes and the frequency of flickering. your question is a mystery to me, I do not know.) but in the cartoon I used a model of a charging station toy.

Thanks for understanding. I spent two and a half years creating two episodes of the cartoon, spending four hours a day after work. "Ghost and Ashes" was equal in length to two episodes (40 minutes). Of course, if I had spent more time creating a cartoon, then the production of one series would have been much faster. And of course, funding is very stimulating for the creation of new episodes. If you remember when Stewart Gordon Power went to Volcania to try and getJohn released and Lyman said to give me the location of your secret base so it can be eliminated, once its eliminated he would let John go. Stewart was hesitating and said ill need a little time. Lyman gelt he was being ingenuine and said to bad now you will have to be digitized and stored like all the rest, in spite of your insolence you will be given immortality. Then Lyman says this wont hurt, i promise you and he was about to shoot John. Stewart found a gun on the wall and threw it at Lyman and the two ended up in a fight and the magma control line was damaged soaron and hawk were fighting it out when John was trying to get Hawlk to help and there was an explosion Hawk got John and John said his dad was inside. The story resumes with Lyman saying "I hurt" Overmind says a remnant of your past, you are in the machine and the machine is in you. There is the episode where Stewart Gordon Power is honored by a placard standing on four legs, but we dont know that his body was ever retrieved from Volcania, he could have been digitized and maybe restored like Jennifer who became Jade. Maybe Steward could be revived in an episode and mentor could get control of the bio suit he's in and free it from dreds control. Just a thought.
Hi, this is a great idea. I've already gone along with the fans and resurrected Jennifer for a while. You're probably the first one to think about it. ) And in general it turns out that the graves are empty. Maybe Dredd buried Stuart's body out of guilt and told John where it was. Because there are really a lot of questions left... Your idea is interesting, and it can be developed. I'm doing the last episode about the captain, and it's going to be the final one. By the way, there will be a moment in my series when John remembers these moments when his father fought for him and died.
@@romusday5885 I always wondered about Dr Power's status, and you have to wonder that if Lyman survived and the biodreads and Overmind were able to restore him, did they digitize and save Dr Power. It's a shame that jennifer had to be killed off. Another option could have been made. Maybe you could bring her back again! Maybe the biological creation was a test and it was something that had Jennifers memories programmed in it. Remember the idea was for dread to give humans immortality. Just brainstorming ideas. The whole series actually reminded me of star wars example Lord Dread was like Darth Vader. There was a stand up star wars arcade where Luke was flying to destroy the death star. He flew through the trench and destroyed it. In the next round he flew through the trench and he had to fly up and down through obstacles. Who actually owns the rights to the original series?

There are many references and borrowings in the film, from sketches to toys from Mattel. And I've tweaked Silvera's appearance a little. She has cut wires instead of hair. I have an idea how to continue the story. This will be the turning point when Overmind overthrows Dread and reprograms his soldiers and robots. While working on the cartoon, I got a little tired of it. I need to take a break and think. Maybe I'll release a commercial to continue....

Holy shit lol, this was actually really good. I MISS this show! I think this show is why I loved Power Rangers so much. I will say however the fate of Pilot I had a similar idea of that's what would happen. Bravo.
Many fans really hoped that ptlot somehow miraculously survived. The creators of the series said that the pilot died completely. That the captain must suffer this moment. I fully share the point of view of the creators. there was just a Silvera character about whom there was very little information . I decided that it would be interesting to resurrect the pilot for a short time. and the captain must suffer again.
@Romus day you also dove deeper into Dredds despair but I always pictured Overmind as the AI villain that was always one step ahead of Power and even Dredd who seemed like he never fully trusted OM

Then Chip "TNT" Morrow was to be a Demolitions expert for the team. I also always pictured Overmind would eventually create a body in the form of Power's father Stuart since he created Overmind.

I wanted to read the scripts of the unreleased season. to delve deeper into the essence of relationships and events. But I draw information from the creators' interviews, and I miss small details. The general story is clear to me, and I stick to it.
Unfortunately they don't...but wouldn't it be cool to render an episode to include the frequency modulation required to make that happen?!? I'd fire up my old XT-7!
I intentionally wrote just Captain Power. If the title is very long, then it will not fit. As a result, instead of the name of the new series, people will see an ellipsis (........) And not attentive people will not understand that this is a new series. It was much more important for me to write the title of a new episode than to write the obvious. Anyone who knows about this series already knows that.. and soldiers of the future. Any reasonable person understands that a Man of steel is a Superman. The Black Knight is Batman. I have the Captain Power logo visible on the cover, and there is nothing to explain here. Just watch this cartoon and don't think about the bad. ;)

Thanks for the comment. The idea of the pilot's return is based on fan guesses and fantasies. I wanted to use Athena from the first episode, thereby evoking a sense of deja vu.
Great, great work! Pity it's not longer, like 20-30 hours worth of "season 2" in cartoon. Dissapointingly low number of views, 2.5k in a year, that's unbelievable. One sees crap that i would not mention here to get views of a million in a month or two; ridiculous really. The Cpt Power franchise is very dear to me, the series was one of the very first sci-fi movies i saw, as a child, fell for it immediately. So was for millions of other people. I remember we've even played Cpt Power in the schoolyard, Soaron got the worst of it, had to jump off a tree with his jacket stretched "flying" while other kids ( Power team) snowballing him ...

when I was voicing the cartoon, I changed different sound settings and effects. and to my regret, when the Scout speaks, I hear a hum. Due to the weak speakers on my monoblock, I did not immediately hear this difect. Scout is an interesting character, but the voice acting is not good.;)

👏👏👏👏 The pacing and the banter is reminiscent to the original series and such a great nod to the show! Amazing work! I liked you worked in captain's dialogue "we haven't finished our talk," and Silvera just responded the familiar last words. Oh my goosebumps! Dred's dialogue to Silvera inside the tunnel saying that her "essence was to give." Man, that was horrific to hear. Once, again Jennifer's defiance showed towards the end against Blastaar. Great cliffhanger too, Tritor escaping.
When the captain realizes that Silver is Jennifer. Silvera has short circuits due to damage. She starts saying phrases from the series. These are all Jennifer's words from the original series.

The visuals were incredible. This was one of my favorite shows growing up in the 80s and your work did it justice.
My only issue? The background music was really loud. It drowned out the dialogue especially during the action scenes.

STINGRAY!!! Oh, man, I hoped for this. Thank you. POWER ON! Nice to see Jonathan is getting as heartless and Judge Dredd like as JMS envisioned. Seeing the more graphic and horrifying imagery was a welcome gut punch, and I hold true to the future of this Power. I await future episodes.

The imagery of Pilot's corpse falling forward out of the cyborg's shell...that was intense. I hope she survived. With the Power Base gone, the Soldiers are going to have to look for new digs. I'm hoping that Stingray has bunks for them to curl up in...

There are colorful characters about whom you want to know more. I am very glad that twenty-two episodes stayed with us for the rest of our lives. It already means something. It means that the Captain is a great series. Unfortunately, I've been thinking about the sequel for a long time. Eight months. Now that the script is almost finished, I'm ready to start the final chapter of my project. The work begins.

Personally, I would have wanted the old guard to have one final triumph but with the help of the youngsters whom they would then hand over to. Interesting question, do the 80's Interactive toys work with your fan films?
I think that the interactivity of toys of the 80s was based on bright flashes and the frequency of flickering. your question is a mystery to me, I do not know.) but in the cartoon I used a model of a charging station toy.

Thanks for understanding. I spent two and a half years creating two episodes of the cartoon, spending four hours a day after work. "Ghost and Ashes" was equal in length to two episodes (40 minutes). Of course, if I had spent more time creating a cartoon, then the production of one series would have been much faster. And of course, funding is very stimulating for the creation of new episodes. If you remember when Stewart Gordon Power went to Volcania to try and getJohn released and Lyman said to give me the location of your secret base so it can be eliminated, once its eliminated he would let John go. Stewart was hesitating and said ill need a little time. Lyman gelt he was being ingenuine and said to bad now you will have to be digitized and stored like all the rest, in spite of your insolence you will be given immortality. Then Lyman says this wont hurt, i promise you and he was about to shoot John. Stewart found a gun on the wall and threw it at Lyman and the two ended up in a fight and the magma control line was damaged soaron and hawk were fighting it out when John was trying to get Hawlk to help and there was an explosion Hawk got John and John said his dad was inside. The story resumes with Lyman saying "I hurt" Overmind says a remnant of your past, you are in the machine and the machine is in you. There is the episode where Stewart Gordon Power is honored by a placard standing on four legs, but we dont know that his body was ever retrieved from Volcania, he could have been digitized and maybe restored like Jennifer who became Jade. Maybe Steward could be revived in an episode and mentor could get control of the bio suit he's in and free it from dreds control. Just a thought.
Hi, this is a great idea. I've already gone along with the fans and resurrected Jennifer for a while. You're probably the first one to think about it. ) And in general it turns out that the graves are empty. Maybe Dredd buried Stuart's body out of guilt and told John where it was. Because there are really a lot of questions left... Your idea is interesting, and it can be developed. I'm doing the last episode about the captain, and it's going to be the final one. By the way, there will be a moment in my series when John remembers these moments when his father fought for him and died.
@@romusday5885 I always wondered about Dr Power's status, and you have to wonder that if Lyman survived and the biodreads and Overmind were able to restore him, did they digitize and save Dr Power. It's a shame that jennifer had to be killed off. Another option could have been made. Maybe you could bring her back again! Maybe the biological creation was a test and it was something that had Jennifers memories programmed in it. Remember the idea was for dread to give humans immortality. Just brainstorming ideas. The whole series actually reminded me of star wars example Lord Dread was like Darth Vader. There was a stand up star wars arcade where Luke was flying to destroy the death star. He flew through the trench and destroyed it. In the next round he flew through the trench and he had to fly up and down through obstacles. Who actually owns the rights to the original series?

There are many references and borrowings in the film, from sketches to toys from Mattel. And I've tweaked Silvera's appearance a little. She has cut wires instead of hair. I have an idea how to continue the story. This will be the turning point when Overmind overthrows Dread and reprograms his soldiers and robots. While working on the cartoon, I got a little tired of it. I need to take a break and think. Maybe I'll release a commercial to continue....

Holy shit lol, this was actually really good. I MISS this show! I think this show is why I loved Power Rangers so much. I will say however the fate of Pilot I had a similar idea of that's what would happen. Bravo.
Many fans really hoped that ptlot somehow miraculously survived. The creators of the series said that the pilot died completely. That the captain must suffer this moment. I fully share the point of view of the creators. there was just a Silvera character about whom there was very little information . I decided that it would be interesting to resurrect the pilot for a short time. and the captain must suffer again.
@Romus day you also dove deeper into Dredds despair but I always pictured Overmind as the AI villain that was always one step ahead of Power and even Dredd who seemed like he never fully trusted OM
@@romusday5885 But don't forget that there was to be a love interest for Tank in Christine "Ranger" O'Connor who I believe was supposed to be a master archer and their weapon of choice was going to be some sort of Bow & Arrow. Then Chip "TNT" Morrow was to be a Demolitions expert for the team. I also always pictured Overmind would eventually create a body in the form of Power's father Stuart since he created Overmind.
@@f4phailure You obviously have more information than me.;) About Tank and Ranger, I have heard about their warm relationship. And I've heard about the Chip, too. I wanted to read the scripts of the unreleased season. to delve deeper into the essence of relationships and events. But I draw information from the creators' interviews, and I miss small details. The general story is clear to me, and I stick to it.

I intentionally wrote just Captain Power. If the title is very long, then it will not fit. As a result, instead of the name of the new series, people will see an ellipsis (........) And not attentive people will not understand that this is a new series. It was much more important for me to write the title of a new episode than to write the obvious. Anyone who knows about this series already knows that.. and soldiers of the future. Any reasonable person understands that a Man of steel is a Superman. The Black Knight is Batman. I have the Captain Power logo visible on the cover, and there is nothing to explain here. Just watch this cartoon and don't think about the bad. ;)
