Great! I have run across this problem too often before. Now you have shown me a solution. Thanks.
I've been using Lightroom Classic for YEARS and didn't know about this. Why on earth did Adobe make this so hard to discover? Sheesh.
amen
Great tip that I need a lot. Thanks.
Nice! Thanks Terry.
Why am I just finding out about this? This makes all the difference after giving up using smart collections.
Cheers Terry. It seems the option key is a superpower in LRC. Might just keep hammering it at random while I work and see what happens 😂
just be careful of that ONE combo using the OPTION key that will fry your PC :P
Great secret tip!
Actually impressed. I've been using LR since V2 and didn't know this existed. Well done!
Dang, thanks for showing this feature! I needed this
Great Tip 🙏🙏🙏
awesome!!
Brilliant
Great tip! Now it would be amazing if you could sync that collection 😉.
Great tip, but WHY is it hidden.
My point exactly. Why doesn't Adobe just make it a selection on the drop-down?
finally, thanks for
Very useful … as other’s have said why not make this extended piece of logic more obvious?
I needed this!
Why hide it?
very cool but shouldnt be a secret :P you rock TLW
It's not smart to change filenames of your photos into the names of the people portrayed in them. It's smart to use a feature that is explicitly created for that purpose: keywords.
In your opinion.
@@TerryLeeWhite Not an opinion. Read the Adobe White Papers on that subject and you will understand why renaming image files is bad practice and using keywords good practice.
@@TheKeeperoftheGarden yet there is a rename option built in. My point is that there are no ABSOLUTES. Do what works for you. I’ll do what works best for me as I have since Lightroom 1.0.
