What i Love about this video... when it starts, all those people in the background arent even paying two cents worth of shit to their music, but... at the end.. they all are watching and listening to this song. Priceless! One of the best

I'm 58 and I think they are awesome! Dance in the Graveyards, is about dancing with the ones who have gone before....you need to listen to the song.

Who is your main age group? My kid is doing a project in class on this song in 6th grade. As well as "Radioactive" by imagine Dragons. I think I need to have a talk with his teacher.

Dancing on graves is called "Destruction of private property"

Well...you got a point... But what kids didn't go to the graveyard and do a little drinking or.... The residents have never raised....well, I mean they have never called the cops.

Listening to these songs help put the idea in my son's head that killing himself is the only way to see his grandfather again or else we're just dancing on graveyards. Not so happy now. Then the next day after the councilors talk to him English class is about the song "I'm only Human". But you gotta be a parent to understand.

It doesn't say to dance on graves, it says in the graveyard. And dancing on grass is far from destruction of private property. Please never come to Louisiana if you don't understand that. Jazz funerals and second lines often dance in our graveyards and it is seen as celebrating the life the person lived and their passage into the beyond. You cry going in and dance coming out. There are sometimes celebrations of life in our cemeteries where there is dancing. It's turning something that is usually somber and depressing into something uplifting to the spirit and to sing the spirit of the departed into the afterlife.
As far as this song saying it's the only way to see his grandfather, that is a stretch. Do not blame a song about not mourning someone's passing but instead celebrating the life that they lived as a reason someone contemplated suicide. I am a parent of a child who contemplated suicide. I didn't blame anything other than the "demons" that haunted my child for that. Grief can hit anyone of any age and take them to the depths of despair, that is what counselors are for, and specifically grief counselors.

@@candace4339 my beef isn't with the song its with his English teacher that picks these depressing ass songs because she is a Emo SJW and believes 11 year old kids need her objective view of what she thinks these songs mean. I must have been heated when I wrote the comment because I missed quite a few words, Sorry.

@@jrbird1983 Oh Mercy! I feel for you. That can be hard to fight against, especially if your child is at an impressionable age. I can fully understand being upset and a mamma bear when someone is saying/doing things that hurt your child.
