- This is a countdown of my favorite 90s cartoons and some of my favorite cartoons of all time. There were so many that it was too hard to choose even after I extended the list. Also, you may notice that some of the actual intros aren't in here, it has to do with copyright issues instated by Viacom. Thanks for watching!

What people don't realize is that there were plenty of crappy 90s cartoons just like there are plenty of crappy ones in this period. People just choose to remember the good stuff while ignoring all the bad stuff. Basically, nothing has changed, there are still good shows and plenty of bad ones, same with the 90s.

***** I think the current era has more than one or two hits. Not just Adventure Time and Regular Show. Also Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, Wander over Yonder, Over the Garden Wall, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (I know it is an anime, but it is one of the few animes of today which doesn't suck)... They deserve respect, a lot of respect.

j good No it didn't. Unless you count the Tracey Ullman shorts. But it started December 1989, rest of Season 1 was 1990. And really, what we consider to be the Simpsons (1-9) lasted in the 90's only.

It's his preference, it was one of my favorite shows growing up. I definitely did not mind it being number one and was actually kind of surprised, didn't think it was thought that highly, I thought I was one of the few who saw how good it was.
I was thinking at No. 2 What show from the 90's that I haven't seen could possibly top Batman? Then I see Doug and I was like. No. This is a shit list. I prefer Doug over Batman, too. Sometimes I even watch it for nostalgic purposes.
My dad was born in 80 and when i was little these were the cartoons I watched on his VHS tapes. I watched these more than I watched the current cartoons that was out in the early 2000s
Take notes people, these are the REAL 90s shows. Most of the 90s shows that people talk about on Facebook or Twitter are actually 00s shows since they started in 1996-2002. I was born in 1992, but I only have vague memories of the actual 90s shows. All of the shows I know in-depth are from the early 00s. I'm not ashamed to admit it.

Gigan For President It's rejecting the 2000s label because when most people say "2000's kid" they don't mean someone who grew up between 2000 and 2009. It's more of a derogatory term for "kids these days with their iPads and dubstep blah blah blah". The 2000's decade never really got it's own identity.

Jonah Abenhaim TMNT is considered a 90s cartoon because most of the episodes were in the 90s. it only aired for one full year in the 80s opposed to over six years in the 90s. 1988-1996

So many great shows, yet not enough time to watch every single episode that was available to us. It's a pity that life is so short. I always wanted to watch every single episode from all these shows and others, but that was just impossible for me. I watched for example Spiderman series, but I only watched more than 2/3 of these episodes. I watched all the Dragonball series episodes at least once if not more.

Duck Tales, Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, TailSpin, Reboot, Ren and Stimpy, Beavis and Butthead, Spawn, Duckman, Hell even Teletoon had some great ones. Donkey Kong was a great show and the animation was ahead of its time.

Scooby was a 70s cartoon : the Flintstones were a 60s cartoon.

Sanyam Sharma Popeye was around in the 40's !! Swat Kats (correct spelling) didn't run for very long and wasn't that good anyway. Power Puff Girls was garbage (in my opinion) so I can only give you credit for Captain Planet, what a great show that was.
Think they missed TaleSpin off as well but you can't please everybody.

I think you nailed it with Doug with #1, actually could have been a toss up with rugrats , hey Arnold or rockos modern life.. Few changes I personally would change, take out baby muppets and add animaniacs, take out that 1st batman you listed because you have 2 on this list and add dragonball z, but it should be in the top 10. And also real monsters you can sub for 1 of those listed 23-25.. Everything else is fine with me. May not got the order all right in my opinion but I think you did pretty good with the 25 you chose.. Brung me LOTS of nostalgia :)
