Had some time to kill after work and before a dental appointment in Southwick so popped down for a recce of the area you took this shot. Wish I had my camera, it was high tide deep blue sky and the bridge was illuminated beautifully my the low sun. Got a couple of shots on my phone. Got to get back over with the camera soon. Think it will look amazing during a sunset at this time of year with the deep golden sunlight on the white structure.
Yes Steve it's a good view point of the bridge especially with those wooden posts for a foreground. I haven't been down at high tide but have seen some great reflection images on social media. I have taken a few images at sunset from the other side of the bridge but still haven't got 'the one' which means I can go back until I do!
Fame at last, well sort of, well not really but yes I was there for our trip to the bridge, next time we will get the light mate.... nice vlog well done.
Really enjoyed this video. Nice to be watching stuff by photographers on my local patch. Think I'll be trying to get a s shot of the bridge at night lit up in the coming months. Hope you do more vids like this. ATB Steve.
Thanks Steve, I have yet to get back to it since they turned on the lights. Hoping to get a photo/video with my Mavic air sometime. I really need to get out and do more stuff!
@@fotofletch Yea same here need to get out and do more videos. I initially got my dslr for doing video but soon got back into photography again. I studied photography at Shiny Row College 20+ years ago using old Pentax film cameras and darkroom processing. This last 10 months I've learned a lot of new stuff and really enjoying it. Doing a video soon showing my best shots from this year and hopefully highlighting how I've progressed.
Been there and done that mate. It's happened to me many times before when I've done sunrises/sunsets. Still God loves a trier and i really enjoyed the video.
Nice vlog David, you got a great image despite the lack of colour in the sky. It's part of the game im afraid it's always a guessing game but as you do more and more you get a bit better at guessing it correctly.. Enjoyed watching it and keep up the good work :)
Hi and thanks for watching! Yeah I suppose if it was great every time it would just get boring! Unfortunately most of the 'good' days seem to be when I'm at work. I aways try my best not to look out that window at dawn...Thanks for commenting!
David Fletcher lol yeah I am in the same boat start work at 8 so this time of year it's always looking at nice skies in the morning and evening whilst working :(
