I went to phase 1 in Appleton , I agree Wisconsin is pretty. But that wind is bitter cold. My favorite so far is western North Carolina into Tennessee appalachians. I lived out west and loved it but that are is a close second to out west. Have you found a way to dim the ELD? It drove me nuts on my trainers truck at night sleeping.

That's awesome, Charlie! I was really nervous too. After the first day, I felt a lot more relaxed. You meet your fellow trainees and the instructors. It's pretty laid back training. Let us know how it goes for you. I would recommend studying your pretrip and doing the jj kellers in your free time. And then just relaxing the rest of the time at the hotel or at your home. I believe you can tell your GoPro to shoot in 1080p instead of 4k if your having memory issues.
