Loved this!!! Coming to church READY to give God worship as opposed to being prepped and primed during the service can be the difference maker in our corporate worship!!! So important.
The best worship we had was at my current church. The power cut out and everyone was in a panic. I just smiled and sang the songs that were in my heart. The spirit of God rushed in so heavily.
We (you know who “we” is) do, but now our leadership is so stuck on making sure the “numbers” trend upward, so pleasing them and making sure they are satisfied becomes priority. Even over the move of God. Nowadays, more pleased people = Service Success
...another Holy Spirit inspired guest on Off Mic! Hello St Orbin! WoW! Praise God! Ivory, you know what I liked best about this episode, the critic provided meaningful solutions. Anyone can give a critique. We have a lot of those - critics - and probably have had enough of them. But when you can humbly provide solutions...that's what we're looking for. I love these podcasts. The guests are high level; from episode 1 - 6. Keep them coming.
@@ivorymcdonald2314I’ve seen so many instances (in the multicultural) church, where certain leaders didn’t know how to steward the moment when the Holy Spirit was so evident. They’d be in a song, and because the crowd wasn’t responding the way they wanted, or they just didn’t know what to say…..you’d hear “Death could not hold you”. 9/10 when I hear the song, it’s not in context with anything that the Lord has been saying/doing during the set. When I got to my current church, I became public enemy number 1 for being a stickler for making sure we aren’t playing with people’s emotions. We can’t just sing anything to try to gain crowd participation. My team will tell you, we had to throw out certain songs for a season because they weren’t engaging with the Lord, we were having Karaoke sessions.
People not taking serious the moment of Worship....was a WORD!!! ...I used to have to beg people to worship ...like why are you here for ....it used to make me so upset lol
I may get butchered for saying this, but I was HEAVILY encouraged to chart checking out websites to find the top songs everyone is singing at their churches. My rebuttal has always been…but what does God have to say to THIS CHURCH

Man I know that all too well! Do we know how to worship if all the tools go out?!?

I haven't heard the name Grace Thrillers in forever. This took me back to the Caribbean.
Mr. Dwayne I butchered the spelling of your name in another video but that's ok I learned from my mistakes 😂❤
You speaking life!!!
😂😂 All good
Can we talk about how we keep using the bridge of “What a beautiful name” as a get out of jail free card when we want to have a “moment”?
Such an AMAZING episode
😂😂😂😂 DATS A FACT!
