This is the complete poem performed by Kyle (Guante) Myhre of St. Paul's Soap Boxing slam poetry team Friday in the semifinals of the National Poetry Slam.
It kills me how rushed I am in this performance. Thanks to everyone for the kind words, but come to a show sometime and see it-- I'm a lot better outside of that three-minute time limit, haha.

I'm dying. Being a college graduate that feels cornered and forced into a low paying remedial task driven job due to the economic downfall our country is experiencing, nothing has spoken to me as much as this poem has in a long time
Is there some school that teaches people to talk like this because theres another video with a school teacher talking about his duties and it is equally moving.
"i am left with nothing but two eyes that refuse to close for fear of what they might dream." ahh
