this method into works when alignment is not critical. Also, check Walmart for Contact Paper shelf liner in the kitchen department. It works better than their transfer paper at 1/10 the price and is clear so you can see what you're doing.
Hi Annette! It really is super easy :) The transfer tape we used in this project is our paper transfer tape. It is available in both sheets and rolls. The clear and opaque tapes will work great too, but we are a little partial to the paper tape. expressionsvinyl.com/transfer-tape.html
I recently lost my job and i have a cricut so I have found that I enjoy applying Vinyl to many items so I figured I can do it to earn income but I am having a hard time making sure my items do not come out crooked any suggestions
Hi Annerys! Did you notice the weeding box I mentioned about 45 seconds into the video? This helps me keep things lined up as well. Here is a video on how to set that up. ua-cam.com/video/FISkOJLgBz0/v-deo.html
Hi Lisa, any of the different types of adhesive vinyl that we carry will work. It would depend on what you were using it for and if you planned on removing it. If it was permanent than any of the permanent or removable options. If it was something that you planned on removing then you would want to use the removable vinyl on it. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. You can find both of those different types here - expressionsvinyl.com/adhesive-craft-vinyl/
what kind of tranfer tape do you use. ive tried multiple tapes some to sticky some not enough stickiness. The only one thats worked everytime for me is the regular tack cricket tape, but dont like the fact that it has lettering everywhere. Thanks in advance!
Thank You for your feedback. The fun thing about vinyl is that there are a lot of different ways to create your project and apply the vinyl. As long as it looks the way you want it to, it's great.

Yes! You can use parchment paper!

It is scrapbook paper. It was purchased at Hobby Lobby. This is an older video so we aren't sure if it would still be available.

does method work on tumblers as well?
Yes this would work perfect for tumblers!
How do I do this for a curved surface?
This process may not work well on curved surfaces. Staring in the middle of the image to press and smooth outward, is recommended for curved surfaces.
Awesome, can't wait to try!
Great video!
Thank you, it worked!!

What if i do the proper way of doing it, and still get bubbles? 🙃
You will want to make sure that your surface area is clean. This way you can get the lint and every thing off your project before applying the vinyl.
i do this on license plates and still get bubbles
