Hi Dary, Great tutorial regarding gates. Just seems some things can be simplified based on laravel documentation. For example, in controller just check if user is authorized, because 403 error will follow automatically in case "no access". I recommend to use ($this->authorize('admin-only')); Also Gates can be simplified to something like this Gate::define('admin-only', fn (User $user) => $user->is_admin); What do you think? Less code and do the same.
Just learning php and laravel at the moment and Im so glad I found your channel, it really helps a lot! Can you also explain in a video more on the permissions for the roles? Thank you!
