This is fascinating. It is so good for me to watch and rewatch this footage of young students to see that their remarkable qualities were present and visible already at that stage.
WOW! The experience really is flourishing as it quite obvious everyone dancing in this video is more than ready to step on stage as a Prima dancer! Yes, it's been a ruff road getting here but...just think, all of you have a lifelong carrer carved in stone! Confucius says, " To succeed in ones life, one must endure Sweat and Tears for a Beautiful outcome!" Congratulations to all on this video as the road ahead will be a very beautiful one indeed! Thanks a million for making it possible for us old geezers to enjoy! god Bless! Peter.
Cienna Watersong. The music is from the last section of the ballet Pas de Deux -- choreographed by Balanchine to the music Tchaikovsky wrote for the first St Petersburg production of Swan Lake (as a replacement for the Pas de Six that he originally wrote, I think). It is not usually used in modern productions of Swan Lake, but has become famous as Balanchine's ballet.
on the left (well, left in the classroom.. right in the video as we see it lol) during the very last turning group for fouettes at the end of the video

Totally agree with you. Novikova is far better than Alina Somova and Oksana Skorik.

Who was their teacher?
Where is the music from at 3:09 ? And who is the dancer?
Cienna Watersong I’m not sure where the music is from but I do know that the beautiful ballerina is Olesya Novikova ❤️❤️❤️

Tchaikovsky pas de deux coda
Take a look at Baryshnikov and Mcbride dancing the Tchaikovsky pdd which includes this music.
Who is in 3:08???
M P Olesya Novikova
Where is Evgenia?
on the left (well, left in the classroom.. right in the video as we see it lol) during the very last turning group for fouettes at the end of the video
Why do they always use a piano at rehearsals instead of a recording (of an orchestra or whatever)?
Genia looks like a little arrow, all pointy and stuff
