I have both got the grand on release months ago. I’m 6ft6 265lbs. The new one is bigger more wiggle room but!!! And it’s a bit but the arm rests are shite on the new one and when you have big long heavy arms you need an arm rest that works. The older chair for me I really like it it hugs you well which I find really takes the weight of your lower back. I can sit in it for hrs with no complaints. The grand needs a 2.0 with proper arm rests to get my vote over the previous model.
Thinking I will spring for this one! Lots of new features and I’m liking that frame better in the X pattern. Didn’t think the foot rest was necessary but for an extra little table it’s an easy add. Oh, that case design even looks super!
Thanks for the demo! Saw this before I ordered my chair. Just put mine together watching again. Your video is actually better than the manufacture's website. Thanks again!
Thanks for a great review on a camp chair that looks like someone over 6'/250# can sit in without worrying about having it collapse and a sharp aluminum pole stick you in the ass.
Thanks so much guys for producing this video. We were at a total loss how to assemble and we now regret not buying the footstool!
Dude the footstool is the game changer!
Yeah the back on I was seriously thinking I was going to break something but after seeing her do it I gave it a go
Yeah you gotta tug it until they’re broken in lol
Thanks for the demo. This made it easy for me to decide which one to go for. It looks like the Grandpeak for me. Cheers. 👍
Hey, thanks for watching. We love this new chair!

Yeah I think the arms would be my only complaint so far but still I think the basket of this chair is more comfortable, especially when reclined.

Hey that is Awesome to hear sometimes we feel like fools out there so Thank You!
Devin from Backcountry Exposure just showed this chair off, but didn’t go into details like you all are showing. Very cool!!!
Hey thanks for the kind words!
Very nice, Easy set up 🫶💪😎
and super comfy!
What is the weight of the chair and and legs without the carrying bags? I'm a backpacking hiker and weight is all important to us!!
This chair is probably too big for backpacking. It weighs 4.8lbs. Thanks for watching

This was the best comment of the day. Thanks buddy!
You should click the spring pin into the chair so is not coming out when you adjusting the legs height!
For sure we’ve used them so much since this video.
