I hope Kuro make some justice to his story too. Like, come on Kuro Games, you can't make a character with the power of enter in a constant state of overclock, resembling to a Whispering TD and with a resonance frequency very akin to a TD, and not give him a good lore behind it. Cal has the potential to be one of the most interesting characters in the game with his forte ability. In my opinion, he has the potential to naturally activate a second awakening just like he naturally developed his forte.

My guess is that his resonance somewhat connected to the Etheric Sea, but it’s a longshot. Kuro must be holding some big lore by not having him show up in main quest yet.
