My word for the year is healing. Working on no sugar and sleep habits. Starting (soon) a full program with a medical doctor who practices functional medicine.
Asking for prayer for my husband. Just found out he has an aortal heart aneurysm- will be having surgery very soon. Thank you!

Healing is a wonderful word!! And it sounds like you are in a great path. You need to be strong and healthy to be there for your beloved. I will be praying for him!

Love this! For the first year ever I chose a word of the year - Nourish. And a made a vision board with images of nourishing things. This includes committing to more time to plan and prep meals, paying attention to protein and incorporating more vegetables. The last couple months have been whatever food is easy and that doesn’t make me feel good physically. And nourishing movement - strength training, mobility, HIIT and lots of walking. And nourishing in terms of not overcommitting myself socially which I did last year and felt overwhelmed by the end of the year. More saying no to things! Continuing to get outside for a walk every day (very cold in Michigan in the winter but it’s so helpful for mindset). To continue to declutter - a constant journey. And to elevate the level of my outfits - I always feel better when I look out together!

I got laid off and also retired at 52 and honestly, I wish I’d done it sooner. The 9-to-5 grind always steals your freedom for a paycheck that barely scratches the surface. My advice? If you’re in your late 30s or early 40s, start saving for FIRE now (Financial Independence, Retire Early.) And if you’re in your 50s, invest smartly and break free from relying on your job. Market trends, like the Trump Effect, have made millions for many, including me. Stay focused, stay consistent, and remember financial freedom is within reach if you make it a priority, make it your goal this 2025!

Exactly My point! The 9 to 5 grind is just not worth it the stress and low payoff. What specific steps did you take to break free?

Working with Lorrie Greta Hillard , a financial advisor, was a game changer. She helped me refine my savings strategy, including retirement planning, and provided expert guidance on investments and budgeting to maximize my savings.

Thank you so much for your video. You hit the nail on the head in so many ways. I’m just coming out of a 4 year rut, no energy, no motivation, and just did not care, or couldn’t care. Anyway, I’m on the mend now and looking forward to more of your videos to keep me moving forward. I love how you look at exercise in using the term movement. Then taking it a step further to say movement is a gift. Love that idea and I will be writing that in my journal. This year is all about baby steps. Just keep moving forward, one little step at a time. Thank you

Thank you so much! I was where you are 5 years ago. I could have never imagined being where I am today, but it took little steps over time and a lot of patience!! You’ve got this!

Today I have started a low/no buy year and I have committed to reading my Bible for at least 1 hour a day. Every 2 months I will be adding a new habit.

Great video. I was similarly inspired by a book, Twenty Wishes by Debbie Macomber. I started writing things down. One of my "wishes" is to spend more time with people that matter to me and stop trying to please people that don't necessarily bring positivity in my life. Decluttering is big too.

Great ideas Sis. My body is screaming at me as well because of eating some carbs and sugar I don’t usually eat so time to kick them to the curb and to stay on track. My daily planner and health journal are to arrive by the 3rd so I’m looking forward to using both of them and see how they keep me on track. I will be starting to use my rebounder to get exercise I’m not currently getting. I’ve been using the grounding mat and hydrogen water bottle for a week now and we will discuss those results in a couple more weeks. I am super proud of you and how well your channel is doing. Keep up the great work. Love you.
