I have a lot of junk jewellery for upcycing, and I also have a lot of empty cotton reels that I couldn't bring myself to throw away because I was sure I could use them for something but couldn't think what. I think I could embellish them like this and make something really beautiful out of them! I'm currently making neck purses and cross-body bags from scraps and recycled stuff and these jewelled embellishments would be ideal for them! I am so glad this video came up in my feed. Out of all of the Christmas presents I have done for my sister and nieces, this Christmas I made key chains with mustard seeds inside little glass tubes I got from Michaels and decorated outside with crystals, etc. This was the first time they really liked what I sent them. I can't remember if I got this idea from you or another crafter, but I know this idea... I can see it and variations already for next Christmas... I would glue small rhinestones or crystals over the other two buttonholes that you didn't put the wire through, as I didn't like that look with just the open holes sitting there.😃. But this is definitely something I am going to start on for Christmas presents! Thank you so much for all the time you spend to bring us great ideas!
