I am not nor ever been in the business and actually have never driven anything like these trucks. But, my grandfather and other family members were loggers and truckers so from an early age I was fascinated with them. Plus when I was growing up the trucking era was still in the "Golden" age where it was a celebrated job in movies, tv shows and in person. At least more than it seems to be now. Convoy, smoky and the bandit, bj and the bear, etc. etc. so it was a bit romanticized for me and still is since I dont know the business. With all of that I just love trucks. I do have to say that some of the mods that go into some trucks are a bit much for me but I can still appreciate the time, money and work that went into them. Love the work you all do and these in-depth videos. keep them coming!!

Where can I get updates with this? I'm from Sacramento and I'm planning on moving to Tennessee in the next couple years. I have a baby boy coming in the next couple weeks, my 7 year old daughter loves trucks and I always wanted to go to one of these and bring the family.

What a huge job, getting those trucks ready for the show. Then next week they will be hauling and making money and getting dirty again. There is so much value in these show trucks that will impact the economy millions and millions of dollars over and over doing real work. It makes some hypercar Ferrari or Mclaren seem pretty worthless. I try to teach my kids that when we roll by you guys and troll the truck stops on the way to Disney World. My wife always ask why we cant stop at regular gas stations. LOL. Cuz there's no TRUCKS honey!
