Wanna give big props to the store workers today. Accidentally double preordered the Zelda game. Before I could finish an email to you an employee called me to confirm if I meant to do this. You earned my business. Thanks for the content and trustworthy attitude towards your customers.
WOW! Congratulations, Cooper! Your Fat Mario is fantastic! I love the story of the trade. Been following for years and blown away by your storytelling skills + vast knowledge. Keep crushing it?
Awesome that you found what you're looking for. I had a choice between the mario statue and the Nintendo Fiber Optic Sign. I chose the sign, and wouldn't change a thing. Always found those original mario statues to be too goofy looking and taking up way too much space. The modern pole Mario statue from places like Target is what I'm really after!
I have a local store, Land of Electronics in Bridgewater, MA, that has this statue. His isn't restored looking like yours, but it's legit and old looking. If you want to know more about it call the owner and ask about the statue. He knows it's whole history. Weird call to make, but the guys been in the business since forever, and has a warehouse full of crap, along with the store.
@@SicCooperOfficialI have a question Cooper, I have store display full size poster for Tak and the Power of Juju the original 2003 GameCube and PS2 classic I’ve only seen 1 in existence. My question is have you ever seen one for the game how rare would you say it is? Being that you own an awesome store maybe you would know! You should try to find one! :)

Just imagining walking into a living room and Crash Bandicoot is just standing there. Feels like something out of a PS1 commercial.
we had one in the Best Buy I worked at in 1997, Pennsylvania, was on a small tower next to the kiosk to play SNES and Gameboy
cool

That's cool thanks for the story and showing the killer mario
1:22 N64 came out September 1996, not 1997.
😅
Depends on where you live. In Europe and Australia, it was 1997!
@@Ian-sx3jm the 2 places it mattered the least
I'd never repaint the Mario. Crazy some people do. I guess unless it was in just horrible condition.
I have seen some that are REALLY bad

Love how you call the statue a "him" or "this guy" instead of "it." A sign of respect!
