I also have two pairs of Mids, which are solid. And they are definitely comfortable, no doubt. I think the Mid's are more for the masses, as I see a lot of "non"-sneakerhead-collectors buying them (if that's the best I could call them, the regular people who are not so much into it like we are). And that's fine. Quality, material, pricing, Mid's are probably more for the masses. And to be fair: $130 or here 130€ is a lot of money, no doubt. I see Mids more for the masses, not the one's are willing to pay so much money on a sneaker. My girlfriend prefers the Mid's. She wears one of my pairs and also got herself two pairs, including the "Dutch Green", which look pretty good. She isn't a High fan because of the ankle area, and I get that. The Jordan 1 High UNC from this summer for example, damn, they are so soft, look and feel great. One of my favorite pairs this year (and there were a lot of good releases from Jordan 1 High and Low to Jordan 4 or SB Dunks). You can't get that with a mid, and you shouldn't expect that.

@@Jerel_con_jota yes for sure. And when you loose lace it don’t mean the sneaker will come off your feet while walking or running neither. It’s just a more “relaxed” fit.
The Mids have nice colorways at an affordable price, the highs are a little more comfortable with better quality. Once I replace the insoles with some Superfeet low profiles, the comfort is unmatched. 🙌🏼 I’m good to go!

I prefer the mids because my vehicles are stick shifts and they are are not as hot on the feet. I've read plenty of posts and watched many videos and in the end people are just making things up. It's the same leather. Highs have a better tongue and that's about it.

My current favourites are the clean af anthracite sb blazer and Mason silvas shoe (lovely leather on those) and last but not least gorge green sb dunk high decon my actual favourite without price coming into it, add price the sb blazer mid is easily my favourite just picked up the summit white full suade sb blazer for 42 uk. I much prefer the blazer mid sb to any jordan shoe full stop and thank god I do looking at prices.
I want high royals but the reimagines just aren't it for me, the royal mids look better than the reimagineds imo. Hopefully they come out witu the leather royals again
