On the hundredth anniversary of the Queen's passing, we, too in the diaspora had ceremony in her honor. Everywhere where Hawaiians live on the Mainland and in other countries acknowledged the great unfairness of the time, there was ceremony. Many tears.

Our beloved & benevolent Mōʻī Wahine ʻO Liliʻuokalani, continues to mālama her subjects through QLCC. Her actions as a pious & brilliant leader keeps the kingdom thriving. Thus, we utter her words, "Onipaʻa Kākou." Until we meet again. He Hawaiʻi au.

Profundamente comovido pelo muito da cultura tradicional que ainda permanece no coração deste povo e que de forma tão perfeita e digna demonstra na Hula Kahiko e em outras manifestações. Profundamente comovido pelo trauma imposto a este povo pela colonização. Mahalo Hawai'i ~ Aloha

First you say she looks like your Aunt. Then say she looks like your friends Aunt? Yeah I don't believe you. She looks Hawaiian like my family. I can trace her in my family tree. Can you?

Does she look black to anybody? I know she's an Islander, but she seems to look a lot like my best friend's aunt. And she's a black woman. A full black woman. It's crazy

@@1V1L1C Polynesians aren't black. They are not related to sub-saharan Africans genotypically.
