As salaam mu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatahu. Great lyrics and are so true. Was part of that mehfil. In fact, Marhoom Saleem and I were best friends. I used to travel with Marhoom Farouk and Sikander even to the Johannesburg mehfils, too. Allah grant the Marhooms Jannatil Firdous. Only Abbas Bhai around now.
