When it comes to singing Classical songs, Trichur Bros are simply unbeatable. Their voice level is such that it takes you to a different world. But, I must hasten to add that their pronunciation, including that in their mother tongue, Malayalam, leaves much to be desired, which they must definitely work on. Even in this 'kriti', ' the opening note of Jnanam' was mispronounced as 'njanam'.
Yes, even in this actual song, though their rendition is soulful, their pronunciations are wrong. The actual meaning is lost. I came across quite a few renditions with wrong pronunciations. But only those who know the language kannada will realize that. (Rahul Vellal has sung the words correctly. Right pronunciations)
