I’m not the biggest fan of Steph Curry but there’s no doubt he changed and revolutionized the way NBA games are played today. When you have centers taking three’s that tells you everything you need to know.
defensively sure, offensively the warriors that won the championship were unrecognizable from the mark jackson years. Warriors had insane offensive talent and were literally just running ISOs for steph and post ups for david lee it was straight up bad.

As a basketball fan, I've been lucky enough to witness the MJ, Kobe, Bron and Steph era. Hope you younger fans get just a 3rd of what I've lived through. This was an amazing video and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Same. Was born in 1980 so life has been great watching Goats. I’m from Boston and Sports is huge in my City. Steph is up there with the players who changed the way the game is played and that’s spectacular to witness
Steph Curry is one of the few players to revolutionize basketball and take it to a new level. The reason he’s the most popular player is because he’s the most relatable. Not everyone can be 6’6” and jump out of the stadium. Everyone can learn to shoot and handle.
Yo man, I used to watch your videos a long time ago back when I was in high school and to this day you are still my favorite sports documentarian/edit producer. I want to give the suggestion of maybe making a few, more recent, baseball documentaries (as there are not many out there that have the epic production you have). I think there are some current/recently retired baseball players that deserve your artistry.
Such a great video Joe!! 😊🔥👏🏻👏🏻 all your videos are amazing and sorry I don’t leave more comments or likes. But u are the best for sports documentaries 💪🏻
The Warriors/Cavs rivalry may be the best that there ever was. 4 straight finals for both is insane. The NBA was all about Stephen Curry & LeBron James with Warriors vs Cavs for 4 straight years.
JVP gonna have to start updating this one every year Steph plays in The Association, the amazement he inspires in me got me interested in basketball again and the man is a force of nature who leads with a humble heart and pure skill. Pound for pound the best player at his position in NBA history.
I’m not the biggest fan of Steph Curry but there’s no doubt he changed and revolutionized the way NBA games are played today. When you have centers taking three’s that tells you everything you need to know.
It’s not only that Curry changed the game, but it’s also that he changed the the perception teams had of smaller and supposedly weaker players. This opens the door for so much new players to come in the future - it’s very exciting to think about 😁

@@shanealuska763 It’s not really Curry’s fault. That’s a mistake in the scoring system itself. Of course teams are gonna take the more valuable shot, especially with players today getting better and better from long distance. It would be DUMB not to focus on 3s when you can clearly see how effective it is. Pro sports is not about how good it looks, but what the maximum value is you can get out of certain situations and basketball teams just understood that by now. Make the inside shot worth 4 points and teams will almost completely stop to throw 3s, just because it gives more points - it’s simple as that.
I am given shit for this by every person I know that experienced the Dream and Redeem Teams, but I wholeheartedly believe that the 2024 US Olympic Mens Basketball team is the greatest force ever assembled in the history of the sport. Sure, many of its greatest players are past their primes, but players like Curry don't need to be in their prime to save games or put on performances like he did in the gold medal match.
Basketball is not just shooting. There are so many moments in it... But when you say Steph, the first thing I remember is shooting. When I say MJ, think about what you remember... Dunk, pass, drive, pass, ambition, doing something that has not been done, etc... Of course, Steph is an incredible player, but he is a player who has figured out the shortcut very well. Edit: You can say he is the best shooter. But basketball is not just only shooting. Close contact points that require power and full effort are my preference. I think remember MJ, Mamba, King, KD, WC and think about the moments that come to your mind. By the way, who am I to be unfair to him? Of course, he is a truly magnificent player who has gone down in NBA history, and he has made me very excited.
Damn, I'm from Metro Detroit. At 50 now, I was all about the Bad Boys era regarding watching basketball. My dad would bust through my bedroom door, thinking I was killing someone. I was just watching Detroit basketball. For whatever reason, I stopped watching sports religiously in the early 2000s. Heard of Curry ofcorse. Had know idea he was this Badass! This Mutha Fucker rarely hits the rim he is so precise. I'm 6"2 185 now. But in high school, I was 5"4 110lb's. I love it when a little guy proves everyone wrong. Believing in himself and overcoming ankle injuries. Beyond the physicality of basketball, if you consistently put the ball in its home, great things happen. Curry is an absolute killa!
