Sounds like a manifestation technique taught in new age. They write how much they want to make in comments because there’s tons of fake methods being taught. They could be an actual believer in Jesus but just lost and confused on how to pray. They think their prayers weren’t answered so they’re looking for answers in lots of places. I didn’t see the comment though, so just based on what you’re describing this is my best guess.
