No me termina de gustar mucho la mezcla de ese disco, digo el sonido general. En el siguiente quedo impecable. De todos modos la labor de Conti es notable, impecable. Aunque tengo entendido que en vivo no rinde tanto, le falta algo de potencia a su voz, al menos en unos cuantos videos que vi.

Of course! He has all the reasons to be excited, after all the guy is the band's composer, guitarrist, lyricist, keyboard player, he even composed the orchestral parts. Also this Rhapsody band was created to have a Cinematic sound, since he loves movies and such(as described in his biography at the website), i think it's like his dream has come true.
Sadest day in my life when Luca left Rhapsody of Fire. Even if it was in accordance, Luca had planned to leave the band since late 90s/early 2k or so, but would not until the Emerald Saga was completed. Saddest day indeed. :,(

Saw them yesterday, they played lots of old school Rhapsody, which was of course awesome. But they also rocked this song, Alessandro is a brilliant singer I have to admit. And Luca's playing was so outrageously clean, best guitarist in metal.

Si bien en un principio me costo aceptar a Conti, debido a mi fanatismo por Lione, ahora aprendi a apreciar su talento y me gusta tanto o mas que Fabio. Y los que dicen que Conti no rinde en los temas clasicos, escuchen Flames of revenge cantado por el... casi me explota la cabeza :D.
Pois é, Luca nessa época já não queria mais fazer aquele power metal tradicional (magia,espada, dragão etc) e tinha essa vontade de fazer algo Cinematográfico que foi esse Rhapsody, diz Luca que o Alessandro foi indicação de Lione. Pena que Luca não continuou com o trabalho, acabou ficando aderiva e não teve um terceiro álbum, depois formou o Turilli/Lione Rhapsody e Alessandro faz várias participações em bandas e tá pra lançar um novo álbum da banda dele o Trick or Treat e agora é vocal do Twilight Force
It is a rather complicated composition so you just don`t get it completely on the first listen. But the more you listen the more addicted you get. Thumbs up if you`re getting addicted!

Olaf is no more in Magic Kingdom, and to be honest, i think Luca adn Olaf are the best duet even better than Fabio. Olaf is maybe one of the most underrated and less commercial singer thai i´ve ever seen, he gave to Luca maybe his best album King of the nordic twilgh. I can´t undesrtand why luca not call to olaf for this project, all i know he was bad because of bad personal issues. I would love listen Conti on a band like Angra, Stratovarius or Helloween, i feel his voice amazing for a soft-ultra-melodic high pitched style. But now in Angra is Fabio :/

The song endures listening for its challenging amount of content. Ascending to infinity, me parece un excelente trabajo de Turilli, en comparación con su nuevo albúm Promethus, por mas que lo escucho solamente dos canciones aparte del excelente cover "Thundersteel", ya los arreglos de los instrumentos clasicos van desapareciendo en la mayoria de sus canciones, a mi parecer sucede lo mismo que cuando salio el albúm Prophet of the last eclipse, el mejor disco para mi que ha elaborado Turilli, el siguiente album como solista nunca llego a gustarme. Ascending to Infinity was a very descent album. Equal to the old Turilli solo albums On the other hand, Staropoli and Lione released a shit album for their Rhapsody band. Rhapsody of Fire are nothing with ought Turilli...And Turilli by himself is nowhere near the old good Rhapsody band. Bad move they separated. Together they made the best music ever.
Rhapsody is a lot worse without Luca and Patrice, but Luca without Rhapsody is nobody. This music is so lame, the only thing that makes it worth listening is Luca's guitar playing. And the vocals are shit, nobody can compare to Fabio Lione.
This is stupid because Luca without Rhapsody still put out amazing solo albums, and Ascending to Infinity is fucking amazing. Rhapsody without Luca put out a terrible album. Luca is amazing and doesn't need Rhapsody of Fire.
Ascending to Infinity is good, but really, too many experiments, artifical sound in some songs, so far away from the begining of Luca, even the singer, Conti is top quality but has not teh feeling of Fabio or Olaf. I listen adn buy the album of Luca, good, but i dont need to listen more times. First works of Luca i still listen after years adn never tired. Power Metal on these days SUCKS, only some underground bands are really great.
I don´t talk about luca turrili solos, but, I think that the best music was the first albums of old rhapsody. It was a music with a kind of soul, This is just like a robot that´s playing a music just to make some money.

Well after all, their style is somehow unique and rather belongs to the symphonic branch of the metal scene, so don't expect that it will satisfy your thirst for heavy metal. I think that this song sounds amazing and I don't find it so wrong that Luca Turilli is staying loyal to his style of this epic metal. We can see that the new vocalist is versatilie (especially his operetic inserts) and to me he seems pretty good in his proffession.
Luca is an amazing composer. He's being loyal to his style and is so nice to know he do not need Alex to get awesome songs. After all Luca had his solo project and for those who does not know it, you don't have idea about who Luca is.

It is a rather complicated composition so you just don`t get it completely on the first listen. But the more you listen the more addicted you get. Thumbs up if you`re getting addicted!

Olaf is no more in Magic Kingdom, and to be honest, i think Luca adn Olaf are the best duet even better than Fabio. Olaf is maybe one of the most underrated and less commercial singer thai i´ve ever seen, he gave to Luca maybe his best album King of the nordic twilgh. I can´t undesrtand why luca not call to olaf for this project, all i know he was bad because of bad personal issues. I would love listen Conti on a band like Angra, Stratovarius or Helloween, i feel his voice amazing for a soft-ultra-melodic high pitched style. But now in Angra is Fabio :/

Te aseguro que no me hace falta ver ninguno de esos dos, en el 2013 fuí a ver a LT's Rhapsody en directo, y sé perfectamente como canta esas canciones Alessandro, y decir que Alessandro Conti canta más grave que Fabio, es como decir que Tony Kakko canta más agudo que Jarkko Ahola. Piénsalo desde un punto de vista lógico, un tenor siempre va a tener la voz más aguda que un tenor dramático, no se puede ir en contra de tu genética.

Ascending to infinity, me parece un excelente trabajo de Turilli, en comparación con su nuevo albúm Promethus, por mas que lo escucho solamente dos canciones aparte del excelente cover "Thundersteel", ya los arreglos de los instrumentos clasicos van desapareciendo en la mayoria de sus canciones, a mi parecer sucede lo mismo que cuando salio el albúm Prophet of the last eclipse, el mejor disco para mi que ha elaborado Turilli, el siguiente album como solista nunca llego a gustarme. Bueno esa es mi opinion, porque veo demasiados comentarios que dicen que cada vez es mejor el trabajo de Luca Turilli, pero sinceramente no lo creo

Sinceramente prefiero por mucho este estilo "Futurista", "Post-Apocalíptico", que el típico Medieval.Enserio que harta que casi TODAS las bandas de Power Metal elijan la era Medieval, todas las canciones me suenan igual.

Jorge Oviedo estoy totalmente de acuerdo si cambia un solo músico ya no es lo mismo jamas sera el rhapsody de antes, tiene similitud por los solos y rifs con sonido del periodo barroco de luca pero es distinto ya que nos dimos cuenta que quieren evolucionar en lo que es su estilo y eso es lo bueno seria aburrido si se quedaran siempre lo mismo para mi luca rhapsody como dije antes el compone y componía casi todo en el antiguo rhapsody y va a hacer interesante como van a evolucionar por que como veo va para mejorar eso al contrario del rhapsody of fire por que veo que están en en la misma temática y en mi muy humilde opinión menos calidad musical

Rhapsody is a lot worse without Luca and Patrice, but Luca without Rhapsody is nobody. This music is so lame, the only thing that makes it worth listening is Luca's guitar playing. And the vocals are shit, nobody can compare to Fabio Lione.

This is stupid because Luca without Rhapsody still put out amazing solo albums, and Ascending to Infinity is fucking amazing. Rhapsody without Luca put out a terrible album. Luca is amazing and doesn't need Rhapsody of Fire.
Ascending to Infinity is good, but really, too many experiments, artifical sound in some songs, so far away from the begining of Luca, even the singer, Conti is top quality but has not teh feeling of Fabio or Olaf. I listen adn buy the album of Luca, good, but i dont need to listen more times. First works of Luca i still listen after years adn never tired. Power Metal on these days SUCKS, only some underground bands are really great.
I don´t talk about luca turrili solos, but, I think that the best music was the first albums of old rhapsody. It was a music with a kind of soul, This is just like a robot that´s playing a music just to make some money.

Well after all, their style is somehow unique and rather belongs to the symphonic branch of the metal scene, so don't expect that it will satisfy your thirst for heavy metal. I think that this song sounds amazing and I don't find it so wrong that Luca Turilli is staying loyal to his style of this epic metal. We can see that the new vocalist is versatilie (especially his operetic inserts) and to me he seems pretty good in his proffession.
Luca is an amazing composer. He's being loyal to his style and is so nice to know he do not need Alex to get awesome songs. After all Luca had his solo project and for those who does not know it, you don't have idea about who Luca is.
