The bone covers make them look like a completely different knife. The word Patina always strikes me funny. Back when I was growing up we called it turning. The older men would say now take care of your knife or it will turn LOL. Thanks Big J for showing them and have a great vacation
I really like that Sodbuster, I’m gonna be on the lookout for one in carbon, really learning lots bout these knife specifics watching yours and the other knife channel, have a great trip to WV
Thanks Alan, one day I’ll have to go down to Princeton and visit my mothers side of the family!! She’s the only one out of 6 girls that ventured away from the Bluefield/Princeton area!!
I have the yellow version just like that one! Thanks again Mr.Curtis! Part of the Case family now! Thanks so much for sharing this one Mr.J! Cheers, Kimmers and Jerbs 👍🏼🇺🇸🔥🔪🔥🇨🇦👍🏼
Thanks Brother!! Carbon is where it's at!! Sometimes i bang my head against the wall on what to do a video on and realize i should have done this long ago. I still haven't done a video on my S&M's or Winchester knives...
@@bigjsknives dude it’s so hard trying to come up with videos everyday…….. I know what your sayin I go nuts myself take care buddy……. Just think Virginia is only 6 hours from me and 3 hours if I met you half way……. I wish I could but I can’t have a nice trip 😲
Thanks very much for sharing about your sodbuster knives, that GEC is really nice. I only recently got my 1st Case Sodbuster, the one in yellow delrin with carbon steel. I absolutely love it. Take care and Cheers!
Thanks for showing thoses sod busters! I should have bought a carbon amber peachseed when i had the chance! There all gone now. I do have a brown bone with the arrow head shield sod jr. And trapper on the way. Found some great deals and couldnt pass it up!
Wow that that older than you. I’m grateful for you sharing these now I get to see the actual size of the SoD Buster I’ve only got one my daughter bought it for me but mines a Jr.. mines actually the same as yours the yellow synthetic. It was only $32.99 But that jigged bone one is definitely my favorite. There all beautiful make sure you give your granddaughter a special birthday gift for a special girl. My granddaughter is 10 now. My granddaughter wanted to learn how to shoot so she can go with my daughter and I to my daughters friends farm up by the white mountains so I bought my granddaughter a 9mm ZORAKI it shoots 9mm blanks so it does everything a real gun does except it doesn’t fire any projectiles so she can shoot and get the feel of shooting the kick back an she can’t accidentally shoot anything it awesome my daughter loves the idea. Hopefully you and your family have a very special happy birthday together because it’s all about FAMILY 🫶🏽✝️☮️🙏
Thanks for checking it out Shawn!! Teach em young is what i say!! I'm gonna have to start finding her some pink Case Knives!! I do have quite a few blades willed to her but i want to start getting her some nice ones as well!!
Nice collection. In my State, we're restricted to a three-inch blade. When I look at a regular Sodbuster and the Jr. I have to shake my ahead as to why I'm allowed to carry one but not the other. Oh well, great knives Big J, thanks for sharing. (I think it was Advanced Knife Guy who said, "I want to be able to cut through an apple, not have to saw my way around it.)
Those are really cool. I have two Case sodbuster Jr's. One in bone and SS and the other in yellow Delrin and CV. I also have a Otter Messer knife Sodbuster jr type look with Wood handles and Carbon steel. Thanks for the video.
You gotta love those soddy jrs. I just got my first full size Sod Buster the other day. It has the blue acrylic(delrin?) handles. D-bad has been selling off some of his collection and I picked up that, a Cold Steel Finn Wolf, and a Spyderco Bow River(Chinese made fixed blade).
Awesome!! I seen where he is selling a lot of blades due to health reasons. Sounds like you made some good pick ups!! I'm gonna miss the flea market this weekend, are you going out?
We are planning on going on Sunday the 13th. We will be too busy Friday and Saturday with the sale. FYI - my brother found a few more pocket knives for the sale. Some NIB.
I watched your live with Boston and Tom earlier. North Star fella in chat said it best. Heart is with the traditional, head is with the moderns. I carry both daily.
Sodbusters are my favorite Case knives! My grandpa gave me a black handle Sodbuster when I was about 8! I built forts in the woods , fished, processed rabbits and squirrels by the ton! Also went through several boxes of bandaids!😂 Nice collection buddy! I’ve never seen the one with the multi tool version! That’s sweet!
I actually prefer the sudbuster with the two blades so to can use the knife more than just cutting stuff. I own the Sodbuster with the bone handle for EDC because it just looks cool and was thinner then the other ones.

Like the bone and the black sodbuster never had one
They are great blades, thanks for checking it out!!
The full size sod buster in 1974 and in 2024 is a 4 5/8 inch closed everyday of the week and twice on sunday
Off by an 1/8th, so close!! LOL!!!
Awesome video buddy. I love me some carbon steel too. When i first started collecting, i preferred stainless but not anymore!!
I definitely prefer it for my users. Thanks for checking it out!!

I’ve never seen the one with the multi tool version! That’s sweet!
Thanks for checking it out!! The one with the toplifter is a GEC called the Sudbuster. That way you can drink in style!! LOL

Thanks 🙏 very much for checking these out!! I’ve recently gotten a #71 with just the one blade as well.
The smaller ones are Sodbuster Jr.
Yes, but the large one is a SodBuster and one is a Sudbuster so didn't want to really put all of that in the title.
You have to get a German eye sodbuster, try to get an older one if possible.
That’s one I never come across but I’ll be on the look out!!
The orange one is awesome!
Thanks for checking it out!!
