Super Mario Sunshine Best ending gift: A shirt and a postcard filled with people you hate. Luigi’s Mansion Best Ending gift: A kickass Giant Mansion and tons of Money...These endings really show which game is more fun to play and 100%
Ah Luigi’s Mansion, one of the best game cube Mario games. The original still holds a special place in the series. Because it actually pulled off a scary vibe rather than the cutesy ghost motif later on. Still good games later on. But the first definitely had the theme down.
I once golded Bogmire, ONCE, and only ONCE, the portrait in gold is his Shadow thingy, the giant shadow guys you suck up to spit at him. Also I wish this palythrough was super old cause I'd love to have told Johnny King Boo's gem isn't the only gem like it in the game. If you water all the plants on the roof with the water elemental, it'll spit out a Red Diamond, the same Red Diamond you get from King Boo. Take the water elemental to the plants throughout the mansion gives a lot of money, and I think 1-2 green emeralds, but only one of the plants on the roof gives the red diamond.
@@thegaminggenieous9947 Yeah, I feel you. But yeah, Donkey Kong '94 is honestly one of the most underrated games in the DK franchise and many people who played it (including myself) would argue that it's probably the best Gameboy game! What starts as an updated port of the arcade game with extra moves and all 4 levels quickly turns into a puzzle-platformer with A LOT of levels that take advantage of Mario's new moveset! Oh, and did I mention the soundtrack is sublime? Even if you don't feel like playing the game itself (I highly recommend it since it's on the 3DS Virtual Console as well as being the best looking GB-game on the Super Gameboy), look up the penultimate boss theme, "Showdown on the Tower" and be amazed by how a GAMEBOY of all things could handle an electric guitar!
I love this playthrough. I never noticed they reference Frank West also. I really hope SGB plays Dead Rising at some point it's my favorite game of all time.
Are you planning of doing a highlights video for their run of Shrek 2? I mean, the glitches alone in that run were amazing (mostly skipping boss battles entirely by just walking out the door).
27:37 The sheer contempt in Elliot's voice when Matt says the joke.
27:36 For Booigi World 1-1 joke
@ליאור דוד Indeed. Thank you Matt

Well, the mansion is just one giant world compared to Sunshine
You get Jack & shit for 100% Sunshine. This is way I'm not getting that game.
Aegislash Excalibur The replay value is way more fun though
Yeah Super Mario Odyssey does being having different costumes for Mario. So you see GamerThumbTV scold him on Super Mario Sunshine.
Both're fun on their own merits.

Found this line especially funny after Luigi was featured in Simon Belmont’s Smash trailer.
Yay, it's back! The compilation is back! I loved that video, and it's great to see it here.
Booluigi was a good character but sadly elliot take his life away in world 1-1
So much potential, wasted.
Now we’re getting Goouigi in Luigi’s Mansion 3.
13:29 *"Karate Noises"*
I love the explanations for each ghost’s death from Matt.
He always makes me smile 😃
No, he did each Boo, only some of the portrait ones. *I*, on the other hand did each one of the 22 ghosts. (If you don't mind bad commentary)
Yeah, his obituaries or Obit-Boo-aries for the Boos were great :D

I don't really mind the Casper style for Dark Moon, especially since that game pulls off jumpscares pretty well.

"Probably meant 64, Matt."
Actually, he meant Donkey Kong for the Game Boy, which was released in 1994. I don't think DK64 even had poison mushrooms.
Thank you, yes I realized that after making the video the first time. I'm not as big into the DK series, so my knowledge was limited

Elliot : the yummy boolicious
Matt: eaten alive🤣🤣🤣
They’re finally back!
I love this playthrough. I never noticed they reference Frank West also. I really hope SGB plays Dead Rising at some point it's my favorite game of all time.
The delayed ba-dum-tish always kills me haha!
Booballed.... XD honestly still my favorite boo pun made in the lp. Too bad nintendo didnt name a boo that
4;08 Matt meant the game boy of Donkey Kong from 1994
re-upload. Yes, I know it is, I seen this one years ago
And we missed it
3:11 Luigi: Oh no! It's Lou Ferrigno's Ghost!
I would love it if in Luigi's Mansion 3 one of the floor bosses is a haunted piano
Speaking from the future, there is.
@@shaydystheshadowqueen9584 I really need to play the game
The Nigel Thornberry ghost smashed the window hard enough that he died from the shattered glass.
4:06 I'm certain Matt meant Donkey Kong 94. There were mushrooms that shrink you if you come into contact
Some of my favorite moments.

33:27 this cutaway to Elliot's question always gets me, but what's the source of the clip I wonder?

I'm interested now that you bring that up, I've yet to see the play-through myself
Oh, you've got to see it. John's reactions to some of the shit that went down in that playthrough are gold. @@thegaminggenieous9947
Or maybe Resident Evil 1 or 2? But if you want to do his Shrek request first I understand
You cut out Mr Luggs

Wish these compilations didn’t add their own sound effects
