Yoga can be a fantastic way to stretch, strengthen, and increase flexibility in the hamstrings. Here are some poses specifically beneficial for hamstring flexibility and lengthening. Remember to warm up your body before these stretches and breathe deeply through each pose.
Parsva Uttanasana (also known as Standing Forward Bend with a Twist or Revolved Standing Forward Bend) is a variation of the classic forward bend that incorporates a twist to engage the spine, shoulders, and core in addition to stretching the hamstrings.
Prasarita Padottanasana (Wide-Legged Forward Bend) is a deep forward fold that stretches the hamstrings, inner thighs, and spine, while also strengthening the legs and improving overall flexibility.
