We already saw Jericho portray that flavor of heel when champion. If Kenny was this cold and intense, his heel/title run would have been much better in my opinion

For my money Switchblade NEEDS to win at WK. Build someone, ANYONE else up other than Okada to dethrone him. Okada is already a mega star and doesn't need yet another Tokyo Dome win. Regardless, really looking forward to WK.
I would agree with you but this is the Tokyo Dome we are talking about. Foreigners simply do not win the main event of a Dome show, it's just the way it is in Japan. And it's Okada, New Japan would never let him of all people lose to a Gaijin Heel in the WK main event.
Man the undercard is so strong. But does NJPW have no other main event matches other than Okada and White? The main event is the most stale thing about this card. I'm sure they'll have a great match. But Jesus Christ NJPW, get some new main eventers FFS.
Naito recently said that if he and Sanada win the WTL (which they probably will) then he wants to challenge at New Year's Dash instead. Honestly I expect the card to stay like this because Ospreay Omega and Okada White will be very long matches.

Ospreay winning over Omega will be a big push for him towards being one of the top dogs (and hopefully a big push towards the IWGP heavyweight title again); and Okada has enough laurels already, he needs to step aside for Jay White to shine. And then someone like Tama can take the belt from him.
