@@WhimsyPsyche I've played MGS my whole life and the amount of things I never saw watching your play through, please play games the way you play them! ❤
I assume you never saw the 1990s Batman cartoon because you didn't speak English at the time. But a common thing you're going to hear (edit: read) is, "Hey Whimsy, these Batman and Joker voice actors are the same from the 90s cartoon, you should watch it, it was part of our childhood!" (Harley Quinn was a Batman 90s cartoon original character and was brought to the comics based on her popularity from the cartoon). PS. Since you played a Star Wars clip, the voice actor of the Joker is the Luke Skywalker actor.
Is it the same cartoon with Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill as well? I've only seen bits and pieces here and there if so, I know it's a classic, but yeah I've never actually watched them! They were not translated in other languages you think? There's also the fact that I grew up without the cable, we had like 3 to 5 channels on the TV lmao I missed a lot of staples in TV series that are classics even in Quebec because of that.
@@WhimsyPsyche Ah yes, we also only had 5 channels in the UK for a time! Batman: The Animated Series was followed by The New Batman Adventures, then Justice League then Justice League Unlimited, as well as other animated shows & films. Together these shows and films were known as the DC Animated Universe. All voiced by Kevin Conroy (RIP) & Mark Hamill. There are other language versions, including French. Google is telling me Richard Darbois was the French voice of Batman, who is also from Quebec.

Honestly the best thing about this random repeated dialogue is that Joker has canonically killed so many people, it _actually_ makes sense every npc guard would have "lost a best friend".
This, or like my moderator and @OhThatRobin said, maybe it was just one very popular person and they all considered them their best friend LMAOO I kind of like that idea 🤣
@@WhimsyPsyche That was probably exactly why the Joker killed him. I bet he only killed that one person that day to piss everyone off as much as possible.

I remember seeing a commercial for Arkham Asylum in my The Dark Knight dvd back in 2008. And once it released I immediately fell in love with it. The atmosphere, music, combat, and voice acting it's all great. I'm glad you're enjoying the game as well!
Back when it originally released, the websites mentioned in the game an actually worked and were designed as though the Asylum and Gotham was a real place. Which added a cool real world tie into the game that I thought was very fun at the time. It’s a little thing, but it made the game world more fun by connecting it to the real world.
No need to apologize so much Whimsy, we know it's your first time playing through this amazing series! You're one of my favorite LP'ers and I enjoy seeing your genuine reactions as a first timer. Keep up the fantastic work, you're doing great! ❤
I know you're way ahead, but I'll throw in my tip just because a lot of LPers never learn the combat system properly: Press the attack button only once per intended strike, and make sure you're guiding Batman with each strike using the control stick or else you might just punch the air and end your combo. The games are a lot more fun if you can get good at the system and get really high combos while using quick gadgets (tap LT and double tap RT) and get to use special combo moves.
I just want to compliment you for the integrity of stating the advance play up front _on camera_ instead of just some written statement which nobody reads, or not admit to it at all (like most of them do!). Respect 😎
It's great to see you playing Arkham games, it's one of my favorite game series. Hope you enjoy it! The MGS let's play series brought me to your channel and I'll surely be waiting for you to coninue that journey too.
@@WhimsyPsyche you should say it however you like! Wasn't complaining. It's just that for me calling it a policy sounds funny because it sounds like a company's policy. Like "Wayne Enterprise is enforcing a new employee conduct policy this week: no killing. Failing to comply may result in a disciplinary action" Personally I call it a no killing rule
YES. If you never played a Batman game or never dive into the Batman universe extensively, you can comfortably start with Batman Arkham Asylum. You can even learn way more about the universe through these games with the Bios etc. Since I know how much you like to take your sweet time learning the lore, I’m sure that’s gonna be intriguing to see. Worth it. Wow, I had no idea the swat NPCS had so many line of dialogue at the very start of the game! Definitely never heard them. I mean I’m not one to rush through games, but for that particular moment, I didn’t think anyone would say anything. Every time I see someone play the Batman Arkham series, it just makes me want to play the games again because of how much fun they are to play. Believe or not my favorite aspect of the games are the riddler challenges. Because I am hopelessly obsessed solving them… Dare I say I hope you go after all of them. ;) But the game is so fantastic all around. Both as a superhero experience, and art form. Very stylistic, and damn near horror in atmosphere. 1:19:05 The phone ringing was starting up a voice message. But you missed it. 1:50:38 You were definitely hot to solve that riddle! I really hope you enjoy this game. :)
My uncle influenced me to play this game back in 2009 I was 9 years old. This Batman Arkham series walked so the new insomniac Spider-Man games could run. Mark Hamill is a good joker voice actor and of course Kevin Conroy as Batman is perfect. Rip Kevin Conroy ❤
Just now realized you are playing this masterpiece of A series. Kevin Conroy was just the best Batman ever. He was incredible. The Arkham series made me fall even more inlove with my favorite DC character. Incredible series. Also Mark Hamill (Who played Luke Skywalker in the og trilogy of Star wars) is the best Joker. Just perfect for him! I do love that you are exploring and seeing what dialogue everyone has! So excited for you to learn about this amazing universe!
It has some clunkiness sometimes but it's very minor and honestly aged really well still. Really addictive almost rhythm gameplay! EDIT: Sharpie cosplay LMAOOO
I'm super excited for this!! If your only experience of Batman is the Dark Knight series then this series is going to be a pleasant and eye opening experience for you! Most of the characters in the Dark Knight series are very poorly portrayed in comparison to the comics. Also I laughed really hard at the Star Wars reference because Luke Skywalker is the voice for Joker in these games (best version of Joker ever!)
Right before her first inverted takedown I was like " That guy over there, hes below a gargoyle!" Then she swings around a bit then says "Maybe i can get this guy over here...." You're going to love the Arkham games and im looking forward to watching!
Omg I love your channel so much, you are playing all my favorite childhood videogames, and love how you dive into the story and lore of whatever game you play, hey "You're pretty Good" -Ocelot! 😎👆👆 Hahaha
Soooo hyped to see this pop up in my feed! Conroy's Batman and Hamil's Joker are peak! I am not a fan of Nolan's Batman. Outside the comics, Arkham Batman is THE best portrayal for sure! So excited for you!
Hi Whimsy, great video as usual. I've been a sub since your ME playthrough, and watched half the ones you did since. I'd really like you to consider playing Firewatch on YT, it's a very short game with probably around 4 hours of gameplay if you're being reasonably thorough, but more like 6 to you if you pause to talk, with a convoluted story, unexpected ending, twists and turns, relaxing gameplay, beautiful scenery and a place for discussion, theorizing on what's to come next and why the things that are happening are happening and who's the actual villain, and exploring - things you love doing and we love to watch you doing. There's also not many playthroughs of it on YT, and even fewer decent ones, so less competition for you :)
@@WhimsyPsyche I'm hooked! I loved this episode and your enthusiasm is always my favorite part 🥰 I knew you'd really like reading all the bios! Also dang you're 5'8! One inch taller than me haha
The Joker's comment about shoes is because gator skin is a common choice for high-end leather products. Gator skin shoes and wallets are pretty popular.
I always say that the Arkham series is the successor to MGS with amazing gameplay, attention to detail, story and exciting characters. Anyway, the key to enjoying the combat is to be aware that Batman gets stronger and faster the higher your combo is, so the goal is to ALWAYS keep a high comb. A few things will break the combo-- 1) Getting hit 2) Staying still for more than a second 3) Entering Gadget Mode 4) Punching air (hence no button mash!) 5) Rolling more than once in a row 6) Rolling then standing still 7) Using a gadget twice in a row. Avoid these 7 pitfalls and see how powerful your Batman can be as he bounces off each thug like a pendulum with no stopping his momentum!
What the heck? I just installed this game and played a bit last night because I was thinking that it's been sitting idle in my Steam library for so long, and then I see you playing it too?? Wow what a coincidence. It's really good so far.
20:00 I think he's talking about crocodile leather shoes Edit: damn, i was late xD This game still looks so good after all these years, and love all the detailes and how much dialogue minor NPCs have.
we’re feasting tonight 🗣️🗣️🗣️‼️ hype aside, im so happy u think this game is a masterpiece, whimsy! this is the series that made me fall in love with the batman universe (prior to that, i had very surface level knowledge about it), so im so excited to watch u go on a similar journey 💕
Hi Whimsy, I'm pleased that you're now continuing with Batman after MGS. The Games are all really fantastic, especially Origins and Knight, but you'll see for yourself when you play them at some Point. Now I don't want to say too much here (I'm sure there are plenty of others who want to bombard you with Tips and annoy you with hundreds of Pieces of Advice), but I can still recommend one Thing to you: don't spend too much Time in detective mode. I know from my own Experience it is very tempting and helpful, but believe me, you're missing out on a wonderfully designed World with lots of beautiful (and missable) Clues, Locations and Hints. Well enough annoyed, Thank you Whimsy for this exciting first Episode of B-Man, I'm really looking forward to it continuing. Until then, I wish you a nice Day/Evening and lovely Greetings from Austria 🥰🥰🥰
And here we go Batman: Arkham Asylum!! I am thrilled you are playing this. You'll enjoy this and the rest of the Arkham games. In The Dark Knight trilogy, Gordon has two kids, a son and a daughter. It was never mentioned what's the daughter name was, but we can assume it was Barbara. The son, James Gordon Jr is too from the comic books.
mark hamill, arleen sorkin and kevin conroy are legit the best voice actors for their respective characters. Also, this is one of the best if not the best batman media ever made aside of the animated series which also had the same voice actors :)
You'll get more Gadgets soon that'll open everything up àlot more with The Riddler's Challenges. You can also backtrack àlot in this and solve each one whenever you like. Some might be under your nose and some you'll have to look thoroughly around your surroundings. You're going to love this series.
My god what a game. I remember falling in love with Batman’s entire universe in DC lore at a young age. I had exposure the animated series (BTAS) and New Adventures of Batman/Robin, as well as the cheesy movies, including Batman and Robin. By far my favorite film the Mask of The Phantasm… second runner up being the Batman Beyond movie: Return of the Joker I loved the Nolan films, and Kevin Conroy’s and Arleen Sorkin’s passing only strengthened my love and respect for them and their work. You will- and I promise this as a batman fan- absolutely love this series all the up to the end of Arkham Knight.
This game was the first time I hear Kevin Conroy's voice (I first played it in 2009, during my university days) after having not hear him since the Animated Series days (I was in junior school in the 90s). The childhood nostalgia was so good! This game has the feel of the animated series without feeling like a kid's show. It felt like Batman "grew up" with me.
Batman isn't just rich. 1/Trained to physical and mental peak 2/Arsenal of gadgets, vehicles, and advanced technology Inventor 3/detective, genius-level intelligence 4/Expert in most known forms of martial arts 5/Trained in all aspects of criminology 6/Mastery of the physical sciences 7/Computer expert Master of disguise Photographic memory 8/Trained in stealth and espionage techniques 9/Expert escape artist 10/ Learned many cultures and languages around the world
Whimsey went from Snakes to the Bat. A very fitting transition considering Solid Snake and Batman have alot of similarities especially being elite stealth experts that arr proficient in gadgets and hand to hand.
Yes! It`s time! Never played these games myself back when they came out. I only recently saw someone else`s playthrough of them. Regardless, let`s see what`ll happen in this playthrough. Let the ass kicking begin.
43:54 You met Zsasz in the movie trilogy - he was the crook Dr Crane (Scarecrow) was defending in court, and I think he later showed up during the fear gas disaster.
I think playing this after the Metal Gear games is a stroke of genius, cuz the Arkham games are basically leaning into a similar thing! Deconstructing and studying Batman as a character and cementing why he IS the hero Gotham deserves! Also including the complications of his relationship with Joker :P You probably already figured this out, but this game in particular is a straight up Metroidvania, meaning it was made to scratch your completionist itch! So each upgrade will make you want to go back to other places to grab those collectibles!
as far as trophies go you obviously wont be able to reach a certain amount of them from the get go. as u progress through the game and get more weapons/accessories theyll becoming more available and have to revisit areas u werent able to reach at first. all in all its cool to catch another great series your playing. can already tell its a gonna be a fun time for u! 🥰👍
this game is perfect as an entry to the universe of Batman, since it is pretty faithful to the comic lore, and has a ton of lore references you can read to learn more.
This is gonna be so much fun!!! By the way, you'll see a lot of people calling this a trilogy but there are actually 4 games in total. Do not skip Arkham Origins since it is the one of the best ones but it's hated by a lot of people for some reason.

If ever a game franchise was made for the inquisitive mind of whimsy this is it take your time & explore as much as you can , the graphics , story line are phenomenal & hasn't aged at all, rocksteady at their Best so looking forward to whimsy's magic dust on this playthrough 💖🇨🇦🌻🐝
Aaaah you're so kind thank you 😭 The riddles and especially the Chronicles are what made me say 'yep, this a masterpiece' LMAO I do love them plot twists ❤️
31:36 In the first comics, Batman would kill criminals - but then the rules of American comics were introduced that demanded the good guys not to kill, so his story was changed accordingly. (He'll still leave you in a ditch with a dislocated shoulder.) 32:22 Not strictly no powers - his head is so wrong, there have been literal deamons who failed to possess him - also, on at least one ocassion he was hit with something designed to cancel powers, and it turned him briefly normal.
This series is really good, you'll have fun. Mark Hamill is great as the Joker, and Kevin Conroy is basically the perfect Batman voice. People tend to complain about Batman Origins, but I didn't find it bad at all, it just doesn't have the original actors. Btw, the PC version has better graphics, specially around lighting and particles.
7:14 -- rather fitting that you made a Star Wars reference, since the voice of the Joker is Mark Hamill. Luke Skywalker himself. You've likely figured it out by now, but some of the riddles you have to solve are hidden question marks. You were close to finding the first one, at the end of the video. Actually, anything that stands out in any room should be scanned, for it will likely be the answer to a riddle, but... again, you've likely figured this out.
Dont worry about the riddles too much. Not yet at least. Once the main plot is done, you will still be free to explore the island, track down trophies, and solve riddles. In fact, some of them literally can't be solved until that point anyway. When a riddle is talking about "many sides being visible" or "unusual perspective" or something of the sort, what it usually (but not always) means is that there are two sets of markings on different surfaces in the room, visible only in detective mode. If you stand in EXACTLY the right spot, will line up with each other to make a complete symbol. Usually (but not always) its the top section and dot of a question mark you are looking for. Most of these "perspective riddles" dont give you anything beyond some xp and a sense of smug satisfaction, so you can skip them if you want. Same with the trophies to some extent. I strongly suggest you attempt to solve all the actual riddles though, most of them unlock lore for you to read. This advice applies to all games in the series by the way.
Oh Whimsey is gonna love Joker. His comments are priceless. Hammel and Konroy did the two justice, like they`ve always done. Guess I`m a bit of a late commer to the DC universe; oh well, better late than never.
Oh this is exciting. Funnily enough I completed this about 2 weeks ago on hard difficulty. I did it years ago on the 360 so I had to try it again. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Aaah that's awesome thank you so much!
28:50 I dont know why but refereing to batman's moral code of not killing criminals as a "no killing policy" sounds so funny to me
Guess it's one of those things where punctuation is important like the "Panda, eats shoots and leaves" vs "Panda eats, shoots and leaves" 😅
Wait how should I say it?? 😱
@@WhimsyPsyche you should say it however you like! Wasn't complaining. It's just that for me calling it a policy sounds funny because it sounds like a company's policy.
Like "Wayne Enterprise is enforcing a new employee conduct policy this week: no killing. Failing to comply may result in a disciplinary action"
Personally I call it a no killing rule
Aaah that makes sense LMAO
In The Dark Knight he refers to it as a "rule"
You are consistently playing some of my fave games of all time haha. Enjoy the ride! I know I will. Thank you for your work. I appreciate it.
That's so sweet thank you! I hope you enjoy the playthrough ❤
That’s hilarious about accent. Especially the GSP reference you musta gotten that so many times 😂
Im SO happy you're listening to the npc optional dialogue, nobody else ever does that!
Aaah you're welcome!!
Hi Whimsy. Luv your playthroughs
Thank you so much, I'm glad!
The combat in this game is so smooth. It inspired so many great games. Glad you love it!
Looking forward to the Warden Sharpe cosplay!
Right before her first inverted takedown I was like " That guy over there, hes below a gargoyle!"
Then she swings around a bit then says "Maybe i can get this guy over here...."
You're going to love the Arkham games and im looking forward to watching!
You will absolutely love the series whimsy! I hope you play all 4 of them!
That's the plan!!
@@WhimsyPsyche hells yeah!
Omg I love your channel so much, you are playing all my favorite childhood videogames, and love how you dive into the story and lore of whatever game you play, hey "You're pretty Good" -Ocelot! 😎👆👆 Hahaha
Aww thank you so much you're so kind!! ❤
YAY!! SO AWESOME!!! THANKS WHIMSY!! :D
THANK _YOU_ FOR WATCHING!!
Yo whimsy, following you here from your mgs playthroughs. You are about to have a blast. The arkham series is fantastic. You'll love it.
Aah thank you so much for staying on the channel even after MGS, that's so sweet ❤
Soooo hyped to see this pop up in my feed! Conroy's Batman and Hamil's Joker are peak!
I am not a fan of Nolan's Batman. Outside the comics, Arkham Batman is THE best portrayal for sure! So excited for you!
from MGS to Batman, you sure know how to pick the good franchises. looking forward to this
2:30 it's good that you record, I also prefer this way of watching you, by the way there is less chance that someone will make a spoiler
Whimsy! I'm so excited for you to start this series!!
I'm so excited to share it 😭
@@WhimsyPsyche I'm hooked!
AAAH I had not thought of that 🤣 Classic Joker lmaooo
Crocodile shoes 🎶
@@screwielewie Jimmy Nail? Whenever I play that song, people are like "oh wow this takes me back"
I always say that the Arkham series is the successor to MGS with amazing gameplay, attention to detail, story and exciting characters.
So bitter sweet hearing Kevin Conroy's voice again. R.I.P. best batman.
Batman 🦇 Let’s Go!! Your gonna love the whole series ☺️😁😁
So glad to see you start this series. The 1st is my favorite of the three
The vibe, the ✨ambience✨
Stop calling it a trilogy, goddammit!!! Arkham Origins is amazing and a lot of people's and my personal favorite.
I always enjoy when new players take the time to read the bios just yo familiarize themselves with the Batman lore.
Oh you will be SERVED 🤣 that's awesome!
What the heck? I just installed this game and played a bit last night because I was thinking that it's been sitting idle in my Steam library for so long, and then I see you playing it too?? Wow what a coincidence. It's really good so far.
20:00 I think he's talking about crocodile leather shoes
Edit: damn, i was late xD
This game still looks so good after all these years, and love all the detailes and how much dialogue minor NPCs have.
we’re feasting tonight 🗣️🗣️🗣️‼️
hype aside, im so happy u think this game is a masterpiece, whimsy! this is the series that made me fall in love with the batman universe (prior to that, i had very surface level knowledge about it), so im so excited to watch u go on a similar journey 💕
Let's gooo I hope you enjoyed ❤
lol hearing Steve Bloom as some random prison guard in the first couple minutes is crazy. that's a main character voice^^
And here we go
Batman: Arkham Asylum!!
I´m so happy you´re playing this series!!
ME TOO I've been wanting to play them for so long 😂
mark hamill, arleen sorkin and kevin conroy are legit the best voice actors for their respective characters. Also, this is one of the best if not the best batman media ever made aside of the animated series which also had the same voice actors :)
Whimsy is on such an epic roll! First the metal gear solid franchise now the Arkham Knight franchise! So awesome 👏
Hehe let's goooo!!
By far my favorite film the Mask of The Phantasm… second runner up being the Batman Beyond movie: Return of the Joker
I loved the Nolan films, and Kevin Conroy’s and Arleen Sorkin’s passing only strengthened my love and respect for them and their work. You will- and I promise this as a batman fan- absolutely love this series all the up to the end of Arkham Knight.
Came for metal gear… Stayed for Whimsy 😊👉🏻👉🏻❤️
That's so sweet thank you 🥰
@@WhimsyPsyche you’re welcome… you’re pretty good 👉🏻👉🏻😸
I wanted to say the same thing 😉
You’re pretty good
This game was the first time I hear Kevin Conroy's voice (I first played it in 2009, during my university days) after having not hear him since the Animated Series days (I was in junior school in the 90s).
The childhood nostalgia was so good! This game has the feel of the animated series without feeling like a kid's show. It felt like Batman "grew up" with me.
Batman isn't just rich.
1/Trained to physical and mental peak
2/Arsenal of gadgets, vehicles, and advanced technology Inventor
3/detective, genius-level intelligence
4/Expert in most known forms of martial arts
5/Trained in all aspects of criminology
6/Mastery of the physical sciences
7/Computer expert Master of disguise Photographic memory
8/Trained in stealth and espionage techniques
9/Expert escape artist
10/ Learned many cultures and languages around the world
Whimsey went from Snakes to the Bat. A very fitting transition considering Solid Snake and Batman have alot of similarities especially being elite stealth experts that arr proficient in gadgets and hand to hand.
I honestly never considered that but I can see the vision!
Yes! It`s time! Never played these games myself back when they came out. I only recently saw someone else`s playthrough of them. Regardless, let`s see what`ll happen in this playthrough. Let the ass kicking begin.
Let’s gooo! This takes me back to like my first year of high school when this game came out ^v^
Aah I love that! A bit of nostalgia for you then?
@@WhimsyPsyche oh yeah definitely ^v^
new adventure, new feelings! im IN. *coffee and cookies in hands*
Yaaay hope you enjoy!
11:03 first time I ever seen someone activate these dialogue prompts, myself included lol.
Aaah I love that!!
OMG I am so excited for this, thank you :)😊
Aah I'm glad! I hope you enjoy 🥰
Welcome to the Arkham games! You're in for a wild ride here!
Thank you! I'm so happy to be here finally! 🤣
1:10:16 Officer Balls...
43:54 You met Zsasz in the movie trilogy - he was the crook Dr Crane (Scarecrow) was defending in court, and I think he later showed up during the fear gas disaster.
NO WAY okay I did not make that connection!!
I think playing this after the Metal Gear games is a stroke of genius, cuz the Arkham games are basically leaning into a similar thing! Deconstructing and studying Batman as a character and cementing why he IS the hero Gotham deserves!
Also including the complications of his relationship with Joker :P
You probably already figured this out, but this game in particular is a straight up Metroidvania, meaning it was made to scratch your completionist itch! So each upgrade will make you want to go back to other places to grab those collectibles!
Pretty good timing since Batman Arkham Shadows is in development with VR
multiple guards, male doctor, crocodile all voiced by steve blum. I love him. famous for wolverine's voice in animations.
as far as trophies go you obviously wont be able to reach a certain amount of them from the get go. as u progress through the game and get more weapons/accessories theyll becoming more available and have to revisit areas u werent able to reach at first. all in all its cool to catch another great series your playing. can already tell its a gonna be a fun time for u! 🥰👍
Have fun with these games. They are truly one of a kind.
this game is perfect as an entry to the universe of Batman, since it is pretty faithful to the comic lore, and has a ton of lore references you can read to learn more.
This is gonna be so much fun!!! By the way, you'll see a lot of people calling this a trilogy but there are actually 4 games in total. Do not skip Arkham Origins since it is the one of the best ones but it's hated by a lot of people for some reason.
I want to say I love your channel and your so fun ff rebirth was the first lp I saw you and the fact you are playing one of my favorite series Batman I’m excited, joker is one of favorite villains can’t wait for you to see more of him and the other villains. I also can’t wait what cosplay you will do in the series. This is off topic but because I enjoy your theory crafting I’m curious on your take on kingdom hearts or danganronpa.
Aaah thank you so much that's so kind ❤ FF Rebirth was truly one of a kind omg what a good game. I'm glad you've decided to stay for other playthroughs as well!! I'm excited to show the cosplay for this game hehehe there were SO many choices!
@@WhimsyPsyche your welcome 😊, ngl I was not a big fan of ff but decided to give it a second chance and I saw moments that made me interested than I saw your lp of it and yeah it’s a good game, omg I’m excited for the cosplay I imagined it was hard to pick lol
At the beginning of the game "GIRL JUST GO!" LOL!
LMAO welcome to my playthroughs, I take my sweet time 😂
Kevin Conroy, the true Batman, what a legend.
31:36 In the first comics, Batman would kill criminals - but then the rules of American comics were introduced that demanded the good guys not to kill, so his story was changed accordingly. (He'll still leave you in a ditch with a dislocated shoulder.)
32:22 Not strictly no powers - his head is so wrong, there have been literal deamons who failed to possess him - also, on at least one ocassion he was hit with something designed to cancel powers, and it turned him briefly normal.
Welcome to the Arkham Saga. You're gonna love it
Thank you so much! 😊
"I'm basically like xQc and GSP if that can help you situate my accent" as someone from Quebec, this is not only very funny but also very accurate lol
I ahm not impress by yooe pehrfrmeeennsss
Unlike xQc, I can actually understand what Whimsy says 😅
This series is really good, you'll have fun.
Mark Hamill is great as the Joker, and Kevin Conroy is basically the perfect Batman voice.
People tend to complain about Batman Origins, but I didn't find it bad at all, it just doesn't have the original actors.
Btw, the PC version has better graphics, specially around lighting and particles.
a bit late but: if you wanted to get started on comics, a lot of this game is based on "a serious house on serious earth"
I think these representations of Batman and the Joker are the best and most faithful to the comics, tying with Batman TAS, with whom shares writer.
YAY! Welcome to the Arkham Universe!
Thank youu 🎉
7:14 -- rather fitting that you made a Star Wars reference, since the voice of the Joker is Mark Hamill. Luke Skywalker himself.
You've likely figured it out by now, but some of the riddles you have to solve are hidden question marks. You were close to finding the first one, at the end of the video. Actually, anything that stands out in any room should be scanned, for it will likely be the answer to a riddle, but... again, you've likely figured this out.
Arkham series is one of my all time favorites, I really hope you enjoy it
Dont worry about the riddles too much.
I ended up doing them all yes! Read my pinned comment for more info 😊 Thank you!!
yaaay! like in the first 19 sec
Oh Whimsey is gonna love Joker. His comments are priceless. Hammel and Konroy did the two justice, like they`ve always done. Guess I`m a bit of a late commer to the DC universe; oh well, better late than never.
Great series of games and an amazing story fitting the Dark Knight. RIP and long live Kevin Conroy.
Wow, I never thought those guards at the beginning even have lines at all )
WHERE'S HARVEY!?!?! Oops wrong batman lol. This should be fun Whimsey, even if you don't know a ton about batman. This game will be a blast!!!
WHERE'S RACHEL???
Keep playin.. I think you'll love it
57:29 🎶"I have become comfortably numb."🎶
Oh this is exciting. Funnily enough I completed this about 2 weeks ago on hard difficulty. I did it years ago on the 360 so I had to try it again. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Also the jingle for the announcements has been my message notification on my phones for YEARS.
One of ma favorite games ever, and I am not even a superhero fan. This is going to be soo good.
I feel like these Batman games learned me so much about DC lore like anything else. That and also that DC in my eyes has the best villains of all.
