sweet brother i love it!,. i got between 15,000-20,000.,,, little different genre as well,. i’m more into music from early 70’s till around 1988 mainly,..
Very cool. Nice drummer representation too. No one ever talks about their storage cabinetry itself. Looks like a lot of similar shelving but some other forms as well. When you started out you must have just bought what was good at the time but later on did you make a conscious effort to get something that would look uniform or...? Just curious as to people's choices. *update...I just started watching your metal collection video and there you mention Ikea towers. So that answers that.
Thanks, and you are right - the storage towers and units deserve a video on their own as I have at least 6 different units for storing my CD's. Perhaps I'll do a video on this soon. There are a couple of super cool small horizontal units that Ikea used to make, one with a sliding armadillo style doors and the other with nice tinted glass sliding doors. The most common tall towers are Ikea benno/gnedby. I just love the "wall of sound" they can create when put together - this was a conscious and time consuming effort that I constructed in the pandemic time 😎
Just via some comments on his videos - which I do watch and sub to as well. It's funny because if you were to put our 2 collections together we'd literally have every Metal / Hard Rock CD ever released it seems... LOL 🤣
@@WarunkiMedia I'm a music junkie too. That said, you derive pleasure and meaning in your life this way? Among other ways of course, I assume? A "collection" is, ideally, organized and presentable. I could see living with such a collection, and sharing the music with friends, and throwing listening parties, but it looks like it's in a warehouse/storage place.
@@JahNawl I think mine is organized and presentable - this is why you can read all the spines. If it was simply in storage then they would be boxed up with no idea on where anything is. I know where every single CD is out of the 15k that I own. Maybe you should take a look at part 2 of the video? Always nice to chat with another music junkie - would love to see your collection too :)
Amazing collection! Would be an awesome digital library as well

Owning a collection that would take 100 lifetimes to hear is not rational at all.
yes a lot it I will never listen to again likely but it's nice to see and to own what I have listened to thus far :)
