But according to hatd data and surveys, most women around the globe regardless of their status or income marry a guy who earns significantly more than them. This is objective data not a silly generalisation.
So, you can't really there isn't some amount of truth to what the guy said. Anyway, millionaires or billionaires are almost never self made. They were born into families with money, had acess to resources and opportunities that most people don't and they multiply that wealth. So, mukesh is not impressive in any way.

But as @DB_COOPER_007 and plenty alike him don't want to consider that Mukesh Ambani or anyone else who became successful from pre hand money flowing from their previous generation are not self made... Although they have worked really hard to keep up with the family business and even have added into their family wealth with their efforts but still they were already more fortunate than others... (They just have an eye for gold diggers aka their wife🙌)
They also do not want to consider the fact that yes most of the women around the world get married to a person who is earning more than herself because somewhere in social norms if she is earning more than her husband then people start teasing the husband that her wife is earning more than him... And that directly hurts his ego... (Not intentionally... But males naturally have this psychology to be able to earn money for their family, for their kids... Just like females have the natural psychology to take care of her family...) So sooner or later it could be the possible reason for the conflict in the marriage (well not as long as they both really understand each other but the possibility is rare)... That could be the first reason for the same.
Secondly, not everyone is fortunate enough to get married to an understanding partner (saying from the perspective of both genders)... Where they both shared the responsibilities of the house and of the kids... In most of the cases if house help is not available then despite working the same number of hours in the office, the females have to take additional responsibility of the house and the kids... And then comes a time where she has to let go of her job in order to be a full time mother and not juggle between the office and the home. (That also can be the possible reason for a female to marry someone who is earning more than her).
I'm not saying that all women around the world are Saint... No that's not the case... But it really gets irritating when people just don't try to understand the possible perspective of the other gender and start generalizing all women as "Gold diggers".
And hilariously the irony is that they are even the same people who try to find either a very rich man or a government employee for their own sister or daughter😑

I can whole heartedly say that she valued the time spent with him not cause he talked about world issues but because he specifically allocated time for his daughter in law helping her understand that she was just as important to him as his own children were.
