got this one and jeris via amazon few days ago. i was really excited to try it because i used eau de portugal by clubman and also eau de quinine which i preffer in the summer. this hair tonic really has a strong scent but i like that a lot. it has a scent of some after shave but this is a big plus for me. i use only clubman after shaves and i love how they smell so.... yeah. also the skalp is fresh after using this thing. really love it. would be more like winter thing i guess. will buy more for sure
When I was stationed in the middle east, I came across they're after shave. Very nice. I got back to the states & found out about their hair tonic, which I snatched up. I put mine on after I towel dry my hair & work it in. Great vid., thanks for sharing.
I never liked the scent of Clubman aftershave or any other products they have, the fragrance to me smells really, really bad. As far as a hair loation is concerned, can't go wrong with Vitalis. It has a much BETTER manly, masculine scent and as far as I'm concerned, it's the very best men's hair loation out on the market to this very day.
Thanks Adam for the presentation. A godsend for my 15 yearold son who i learning how to self groom as a buding young man. Showing how to apply it was important for him to see. He was having scalp issues and I remembered my father (RIP) who was an avid Pinaud product user for 50 years. I used the tonic until hair loss kicked in, but still use the powder and on and off the after have. A question Adam - Is applying hair tonic and scalp management enough for my son or must he go pomade as well (not gel. Alcohol in it is a hair killer)? Or alternate ?
Don't know. I had the aftershave. It smells, just OK and that's about it, not real fond of the scent of it. I would much prefer the scent of Vitalis myself, as it's much more of a manly, masculine scent that Clubman will ever be. Just my opinion, that's all.
Hey Adam keep it up on all the traditional mens hair products and classic mens cuts…Pomp for Life…as in most of my posts to you as Board Licensed for Life….!!!
Old School Rules, good review man. Hope the Barber shops in your state are doing well, here in Scotland we have been closed down by the Government for three weeks minimum! All the best 👍
It’s kinda similar man. I’d say reuzel smells better and is more refreshing on the scalp. I have a review of blue reuzel coming up so keep an eye out for it.
@@AdamsHairStuff What's your thoughts about Vitalis? I find it is an excellent product and has a great masculine scent which is I think is much better to use as it is indeed very much old school and has been around for a great many years.

Love clubman stuff. I find difficult to find but when I do I buy it
amazon
Thx for the video just ordered the aftershave, being a long hair dude myself I'm keenly interested in this!

Thanks man! We are still a float but not as busy as usual. Ah man wish you guys the best!
Old school rules are A little goes a long way. Which means you just use only a small application of the product, not the whole bottle.
My brother used a stuff called bay rum
Would this help when using oil based pomades? Regarding cleaning and refreshing the scalp
Thx 👍🏽
Oh yeah. That is one of the best times to use a hair tonic. 🤙
really nice review ! will be a be scared to use it with the after shave pinaud. Might be too overwhelming smelling wise. ( even if i love the scent)
For sure I’d say it could be overwhelming if you’re using the aftershave as well.
My favorite is Reuzel
For me, it's Vitalis. That beats the hey out of any of them and love the scent of it to. Vitalis is number one in my book.
Is it better than Reuzel Hair Tonic (blue)? That one has witch hazel but is like double the price of Clubman greaseless.
It’s kinda similar man. I’d say reuzel smells better and is more refreshing on the scalp. I have a review of blue reuzel coming up so keep an eye out for it.

Have you tried it in your beard?
Hey brother do you still work at ollies?
Yes sir!
BTW….it’s pronounced “pee know”….it’s French. :)
Pinaud has been around since 1810.
it's pronounced "pee no" not "pee nod". French... it's more of a scalp refresher than anything else..
Stay away from fire.
😂
