I always thought it was the Spinosaurus that destroyed the boat, adding to the mystery of the animal until it made its grand reveal later on.

I think it would’ve made sense for the spinosaurus to do that considering the fact that it’s supposedly the main villain of the movie and to basically reveal that it was the cause of the whole plot. So basically, I kind of agree with you on this one #Hewylewis

@@CryptidRenfri Meh it was alright i would have just wanted to see or hear the reason why this Dino risks his life multiple times just for some humans. That's what i mean that is not animal behavior it is monster behavior. At least with raptors it feels natural why they are following Grant and Co.

    • @CryptidRenfri
      @CryptidRenfri 6 місяців тому +3

@@zombiekillaps3396 there's many possible reasons. First of all we know the Spino was a hybrid more so along the lines of indominus, and secondly, it probably (most likely) spent a good amount of time in a lab or pen being experimented and fucked with by ingen before site b was abandoned. It could be intelligent enough to develop and hold onto a memory and hatred of humans in general. We do see similar behaviours in some animals today.
Also humans smell really weird to most animals, and it was probably pretty easy for the Spino to smell the people if they were within close enough proximity (possibly miles away with the right wind and air conditions) and keep them fresh on its mind.
Honestly I really don't see its behaviour as unnatural. Just very, very vindictive. And like I said, there's plenty of examples of modern animals deciding that they don't like a group or one person in particular and hunting them down over a long period of time that defies natural opportunistic hunting strategy and "normal" animal behaviour. Especially among more intelligent or predatory animals.

@@zombiekillaps3396 I'm pretty sure there was a podcast or interview where the director wanted to show the mercenary guy (the 3rd one who gets eaten before the plane clips the spino) shoots a baby spino, which the mother (this spino) sees it and then proceeds to hunt everyone down. If you want, I could probably search around for it again but yeah, it's cause the mercenaries were jumped by a baby spino and then they killed it and pissed off mum.

I imagine a scenario where a poacher is hunting for sharks and manages to get one but it is suddenly grabbed by a large creature and it pulls the boat the man is on resulting in the man to cut the line in order to save him from whatever pulled the boat. Then half of the shark would float up to the surface and the man would be confused on what happened to the shark and what pulled him. He would think it could be a killer whale but is unsure of that possibility but what he does know is that he should probably get out of there and he does before the scene cuts to the shark body before getting consumed by a mosasaur…

That never crossed my mind really only prehistoric marine creature patrolling the waters of isla sorna. Huh….I guess even as a kid I was smart with no idea that this was in an early drafted scene in the jp3 script. Like legit I never knew this was an original early script idea until Right now this very second. I always thought this was canonical since in Jurassic world we see the mosasaur. Cuz remember billy said in the film that the spino wasn’t even on ingens Dino list and dr. Grant wondered what other Dino’s or prehistoric creatures they didn’t mention in the Dino list.

We need a Site-B project that answers all the questions that JP3 made because of its troubled production. all these years I always wanted something that explained stuff like the how the men died on the boat ,what’s in the tanks at the lab, how was the spinosaurus made, was the spinosaurus a hybrid, why do the dinosaurs look different, where did the pteranodons go after the movie, was the T-Rex in JP3 the infant?
I’ll also want a confirmation on if JP: The Game by Telltale is canon. I heard it’s a soft canon, but I want a confirmation if it’s FULLY canon. That game raised as many questions as JP3 did

I remember one of the scrapped ideas towards the end of Jurassic Park 3 was the Pterosaurs scene of attacking the helicopters and the Spinosaurus attacking the military compound on the shore. One of the boats went after the Spinosaurus and the unit ended up destroyed (I think that's where the unpublished Zia Rodrigue paper was inspired by). A Kronosaur scene would have been perfect there as an ambush.
Given the script details and the big mysteries from the film, Jurassic Park 3 will be the closest to the original movie in terms of returning to its roots. That's why I consider it my 2nd favorite.

  • @AzraelThanatos
    @AzraelThanatos 6 місяців тому +3

I don't think that Kronosaurus works there, if it was the one responsible, there would have been more damage to the boat itself...and the Spinosaurus has the same kind of issue combined with a question of where the hell it could strike from since the boat continued in a straight line so snagging someone off the boat would have caused a lot more visible damage to the boat.
Pteranodons could do it, but there's not enough time and space for the larger TLW variant and the JP3 ones were locked up.
My theory would be a plesiosaur/elasmosaur type animal that could snatch them up without smashing up more of the hull of the boat.

Jurassic Park/World movies that focus on particular biomes (land, sea or air) would be pretty cool. The only issue I see with a Kronosaur attacking the boat at the beginning of JP3 is that the boat was still there and not bitten in half, or missing a massive chunk out of its side or just completely exploded into floating splinters. I mean IF a Kronosaurus were to have attacked a boat that small, there probably wouldn't have been a boat still running. A theory I always liked was that there may have been either some Baryonyx or Suchomimus lurking in that mist, or maybe another Pterosaur that wasn't on the list either?
Also with the DPG website stating that Masrani and Wu had resumed operations on the Site B lab between TLW and JP3, for the "Amalgam Test" and cloning new variants and species on their "list" that InGen likely had in their DNA "vaults", along with species that they probably never identified or got around to sequencing and growing before, who knows how many species were actually roaming about Sorna or the other Las Cinco Muertas islands by the events of JP3? There could literally have been anything in that mist? Maybe they did an overly aggressive variant of long necked Plesiosaur that could dart from the water and pluck the crew from the boat without destroying it in the process?

I think a group of kronosaurs as pack hunters would be a cool idea, gives them some distinguishing characteristics over the solitary mosasaur.

I used to think that it was the spinosaurus but now I believe it was the pterosaurs. I think this for a several reasons:
    1. We already see some other variants out on the island in the second film. My thought is they were all supposed to be in The Birdcage originally but perhaps there was some smaller hole or holes off screen that smaller species or even juveniles could squeeze out of.
    2. We see that the canvas covering the boat is torn and slashed. That to me does not make sense for a marine creature. Yes it's possible but it seems more indicative of an aerial attack.
    3. In The Birdcage we see the nest and human bones, possibly from the remains of the boat crew. How did they get there unless they were carried there by some juvenile or other avian species?
    4. Amanda Kirby failing to properly secure the latch on the door does not mean that was the only way out of The Birdcage. Remember the whole place was falling apart. It just means that the the larger specimens can now leave. It's kind of the same phenomenon as the sheer drop at the T-Rex Paddock. Just because it happened off screen doesn't mean it can't happen.
    5. It could be yet a third group of pterosaurs that we don't see on screen. Ben and Eric do not get to see what happened because of the cloud cover but we are given a clue. The boat runs aground on some jagged outcroppings. We know from the third film and Jurassic World that these pterosaurs can swim to some degree. So it's possible the reason we don't see them is because they came up from fishing underneath. Perhaps the rocky outcropping provided them with a vantage point to fish and rest. The biggest question however is did they come from The Birdcage or are they another group totally independent.

Snoopy’s Racing Railway is a fun ride! Capacity is a bit of an issue, but with the kids-only policy, it seems to work. But it’s awesome to see the park invest more in families. I think Carowinds has an exciting future ahead of it!

Kronosaurus has been my favorite aquatic reptile since I read Raptor Red. Your idea of it attacking the marines at the end of jp3 could have been really amazing if the ending was reworked a bit. Maybe reminiscent of Jaws?

I thought it was the pterodactyls to be totally honest. I don't think too hard when I watch movies so it never clicked they were locked up. The human skull in the nest pointed to that thread so I accepted it. I've really been enjoying how fans speculate and shore up plot holes. I would have loved to see a plesiosaur with the implication it plucked those dudes out of a boat the way people pick an orange.

My personal favorites that I would love to see in this saga are Dunkleosteus, Nautiloide Othoceras, Titanoboa, and above all... my beloved Sarcosuchus Imperator (Or Deinosuchus, any of the two would suit me).
I'm already really happy that we saw a Terizinosaurus in JW 3 because he's also in my favorites

I know they never did find out what kind of creature that was that attacked the people on the boat. In my opinion it could have been the Loch Ness Monster or some other prehistoric creature we didn't see. It obviously wasn't a Megalodon or else it would rip the boat and eat them like sushi. If that was deleted scene they should put it back on DVD someday. Oh and by the way Klayton you the man.😊

Wasn't deinosuchus also cut from one of the movies? One of the unseen JW paddocks I think. That was my first thought. Not sure about their prehistoric cousins but saltwater crocs have been known to hang around shores. It probably would in order to avoid competing with the spino.

One thing that I always wondered about in JP3 was the human remains INSIDE the aviary. In the scene Eric Kirby gets carried off by an adult Pteranodon, and is dropped into the nest. He picks up a human skull and throws it at the juvenile Pteranodon's. Where did those bones come from?

The JP3 movie was originally supposed to mainly concern the Pterasaurs and some other smaller escaped species. The Pterosaurs were 100% what killed them. Its been confirmed in multiple interviews.
Then they completely changed the movie mid shooting and recast the actors in new parts.
It was supposed to be a mystery thriller but egos basically ruined the entire project from the ground up. The fact that its atleast still the third best movie is a miracle lol

I always assumed it was the spino, kinda meant to be ome of those things that when you see the spino swimming later, you go "oh so THAT'S what happened to the guys on the boat" but I've always had issues with that, thinking wouldn't the spino just take down the boat? How did it get them off without flipping the boat or sinking it entirely? Did it swipe them off as the boat went by or something? I feel like there's holes anyway you theorize it. Also, it always felt like the way it played out, something got onto the boat, killed them, and then left, idk what that could even be though 😂

It could have been pteradons because the Ingen pterosaurs existed. The JP3 pterosaurs were likely created by Biosyn/Ingen in 1999/2000 timeframe. But I don’t think it was pterodons because they couldn’t realistically have flown into there without being seen. They also would have attacked Eric and Ben first. It would make much more sense.

With the lost world I really wish they would’ve went with Raptors make imagine Ian and Sarah going it still doesn’t explain if the T Rex was in there how the whole crew is dead and then it pans away into the shadows and shows two or maybe three raptors watching them from very far away and then you hear sirens and they look and there’s distant lights flashing and then they runoff into the night and then the rest of the ending goes the way it already is

They should do a stand alone movie. Jurassic World: Mosasaur.
And it's just a movie taking place at sea involving the mosasaur and people trying to catch it/kill it. As well as showing the impact the mosasaur has had on the ocean thus far.

I don´t know if that was the right moment to include a marine predator on the size and scale of Kronosaurus, but I´d absolutely love the future addition of a pliosaur, other more conventional plesiosaurs, or even some type of ichthyosaur of all animals. They´ve already included animals such as Nothosaurus in Camp Cretaceous, so unconventional animals that are not within the Dinosauria clade are well on the menu by this point.
(TLDR Spielberg please give me the WWD Liopleurodon I beg you)

Some of these nice concepts always get abandoned about as much as the humans/ingen clones being left behind on the island especially the brachiosaurus R.I.P...
But nonetheless it would've been nice to see what a early 2000s attack by a marine reptile would've been like fpr JP3 but sadly never got to witness it till 2015 JW with the mosasaurus... Ironic since ever since 2001 to 2015 been busy getting my education and sure enough 3 years later after i graduated highschool in 2012 in my late teens starting my early 20s here comes JW to give context sure we got the walking with dinosaurs 3D movie in 2013 (which again is just basically a reversal of 2011 march of the dinosaurs going from Edmontosaurus to a pachyrhinosaurus perspective... check it out its pretty underrated) and TF age of extinction in 2014 introducing the dinobots in live action form for transformers...
All and all i believe the close we can get to a aquatic attack from a marine reptile is something along the lines of animal planets lost tapes with the monster of Monterey certainly alot more better than the bear lake monster episode even having said cryptid act like a crocodile making use of both land and the water and if you seen the episode you know how bad it is also highly recommend checking out smaugtheDM for videos hes done on that series he recently did a roast on the hobbit trilogy for cinemasins and its down right hilarious...
Great work on another video man keep up the hard work also hope you're doing ok and life for you is going well god bless you klayton and both your channels. 😎👍
