- Three couples of Children play for charity and can win up to £5,000. Holly and Sarah are playing on behalf The Antony Nolan Bone Marrow Appeal, Michael and Paul are playing on behalf of The Warrington Victims Appeal and Ashleigh and Louise are playing on behalf of The Guide Dogs For The Blind.

That Little Girl singing was the most beautiful thing i have ever seen & the most beautiful voice I've ever heard.
So sweet and Barrymore is unrivalled in the way he interacts with kids. Brilliant entertainer.

@@whatevs7332 As far as I can remember a man drowned in his swimming pool during a party. The press made a mountain out of a molehill, like they do. Obviously drugs were involved, shock horror.
Anyway things dragged on for something like 15 yrs with inquests and inquiries, as well as Barrymore's arrest. But eventually all charges were dropped and the police admitted his arrest was wrongful.
Meanwhile Barrymore's career essentially ended from the beginning of the whole affair, he was a pretty big name when it happened hosting a number of successful programmes including this one, Kids Say the Funniest Things and My Kind of People winning several awards and audience polls. No doubt a large part of his vilification was due to homophobia fueled by the press.
Michael Barrymore is the king of TV; his interaction and understanding with children is fabulous . There is no show person on tv today that can match his professionalism. I thank all those who have made viewing these clips possible, sheer brilliance.
Barrymore is the man.. These are exceptional kids.. He needs to be back making shows like this

I never knew when this was what it was for as I was to young but now it's 2022 I do hope them kids are all grown up and live and will continue to live a good life. God bless them all xxx

All the kids are so adorable and I really liked Louise's over the rainbow song , it was very sweet :) I think the runaway train song was cool and funny .......and I think it made Holly and Ashleigh laugh in hysterics !!
I love how this game show had contestants with different type of disability I am part of special Olympics n advocate now going on 14 years this warms my heart

Agree. When the little lass starting singing I started tearing up lol. Mr Barrymore is such a good entertainer and so great with the kids. I wish this was still going (although, perhaps not, today’s kids are so different, most of them have been taught to be much more materialistic I’m afraid - and also less polite and respectful sadly).
Those 2 blind girls on the end were an Inspiration and the girl who sang over the rainbow was amazing and brought tears to my eyes and still are an inspiration they are grown up now not sure where they are now the girl with the dark hair was so funny and made me laugh and the audience laughed too what a character she is I am potentially facing going blind and I'm 40 next month I live with a rare eye condition which I was diagnosed with nearly 3 years ago but what lovely girls they are

Im a Yank. Discovered Michael 3 days agoand me neck is bothering, cannot stop watching his many programs! I did stumble across his falling out. I think being gay was going to be not such a bother in short time. The other...i don't think I can comment. After seeing these Christmas episodes were brilliant, but this one takes the prize. He was brilliant from this side of the pond all these decades later. We never had anyone as brilliant here in the states on tv, ever. Im enjoying all of them.

I’m glad the blind girls had a little help. Many of the questions I think would have needed the ability to see to know the answers. Everything has to be described to them growing up and they have to correlate in their minds what it could possibly be.

I absolutely adore Michael Barrymore. I watched his biography recently - that included the scandal with the death in his pool - as well as coming out very publicly- and felt sympathy and compassion for all those involved.

Actually it pretty much Disneyland Paris. In Florida, WDW has 4 parks, and the park is called Magic Kindgom. OG Disneyland is called Disneyand Park and of course California Adventures. No one actually calls it Disneyland Park.
I’m sorry, can anybody clarify for me what they’re talking about in Warrington? Beautiful episode but, I don’t recall any incident in Warrington. (I’m 35 and Irish so, I was only a kid when this aired and in a different country so, whatever tragic event happened I was obviously oblivious at the time)
It was an ira bombing where two bombs went off in litter bins in a street and two little boys were killed Tim parry and johnathon ball. I was only a child when it happened but it sticks in my head. There was a tv programme about it too it was heartbreaking

(My Uncle was on the original board of directors for Guide Dogs for the Blind in Marin County CA where we live.)
