Delco Synchromesh works awesome in mustang manuals. I know, I know that Delco equals GM...but I've used it in all my ford manual trans. Works great in cold weather
Do not use a gl5 gear lube in a manual transmission. Gl5 lube is for differentials only at it contains sulfur as an additive that will damage any yellow metals ( syncros ) and eventually ruin your transmission.
Idk to be honest 🤷♂️. But my transmission is still going strong & shifting nice. It's not recommended for my car... yet it works better. Especially in the cold weather.
Yeah it should be fine, a lot of people even Honda guys say it’s worked for them and Hondas are specific about using Honda fluid cause they make their own transmissions. But I’ve always had good luck with it and all my cars specifically say gl4 only
Drained all trans fluid out & replaced with all synchromesh. I wouldn't recommend mixing any oil in a vehicle.. unless in a pinch and planning to change very soon.

Works great in a Honda also.!
GM Motors work well in the two valve to😅😅
Anytime I’m working on cars I have to go to 3 different auto zones, they never have anything anymore…Great tip though..👍
Yeah it's crazy. I feel they are very over priced too.
Great info great video.
@@Neighbor51 thank you!

Did he even mention that ?
Too much addatives will damage the synchromesh clutch, make sure you use GL4 for manual transmission, and not GL5.
I used amsoil manual synchromesh 5w30
So my car calls for gl4 or gl5... I tried the Synchromesh and it solved all my grinding. Will having a gl3 oil be ok?

One question, if you car need 3 lts of gearbox oil, you put only this Pennzoil 3 lts, or you mixed with other. ?
