Is there proof, beyond Cheryl Wright’s testimony, that the boy’s father is guilty of giving him that black eye? From her statements it’s obvious that Mrs Wright does not like the Straightway ministry and kids can get facial injuries in a million different ways. We don’t know if Bryson skateboards or takes karate or plays soccer. Secondly if the 14 year old was with his parents in said “compound” how is the lead on this story that he’s been “missing” for three weeks? If a minor is with his parents how is that minor “missing”? If the father is responsible for that black eye then absolutely it’s time for outside interference or advocacy on behalf of the minor. But as this story is presented what I’m seeing are hundreds of people commenting as judge, jury and executioner while simultaneously failing to ask the two extremely important questions posed above. Lastly why is no one making the connection between the Pastor of Straiightway, Pastor Dowel, and his 15 years of albeit popular yet anti-government UA-cam videos and the ridiculous amount of paramilitary “assets” deployed to pick up one 14 year old who was known to be inside with his biological parents? Isn’t anyone else a tad concerned that if they can send dozens of submachine gun toting police and a bunch of Iraq and Afghanistan surplus armaments to take these parents’ kid, they could do likewise to you? Again I am in no way defending Mr Muir. I am saying there’s a lot more “there” there and it’s disturbing to see so many lemming thinkers cheering a story with more questions than answers presented by a doofus news team who themselves don’t seem to know what is going on.

I'm recalling Waco and Ruby Ridge. Both of those cases were examples of government excess and overreach. I am holding my opinion, at this point. I've seen a few of these instances where a woke relative or neighbor caused a family breakup over, in one case, a teen complaining when their parent banned their phone access, because of homework issues. A neighbor reported it as abuse. the Father now may not visit his kids without a CYS employee present. No physical harm was ever proven.

This sounds like a couple of people had their own child taken away without evidence of wrongdoing, and he had been declared missing, but was found on his parents' property.
Am I missing something? This kid was with his parents, on their property, but law enforcement called him missing? What is going on in my state right now? Can law enforcement just declare anyone they want missing?
I understand the bruises, but a 14 year-old boy is usually covered in marks, bruises, scars, and scabs. The thing that bothers me is the heavy focus on the religious affiliation. Why is that part of this at all? I'm hearing a LOT of questionable 1st amendment problems. If the ACLU isn't involved in this pretty soon, I will be shocked.

The police took away a child from his parents, off of their property, and he was determined to be fine, well, and uninjured.
