I know its been a year, and i’ve been trying to find out the meaning behind this song, and the quotes “i’m in their minds” “Driving a FEW kids to madness” made me think of the POLYBIUS game. Which drew people to death to whoever played.

The entity appears to be an Arcade machine, possibly built in the 80s, it does not match any arcade machines built at any time, even the late 2000s. The game genre changes from play through to play though, almost as if the machine was forgetting what game it is supposed to run. We learned of this entity on the date of 20[REDACTED], in an arcade in [REDACTED] after reports of maintenance men disappearing and cheating players suddenly disappearing as well. Soon after, Field Agents "Tango" and "Utah" were sent in. Agents discovered that when they attempted to check out the machine and considered grabbing it for research, the screen read,"Please Don't" and extraction was postponed. A few days later, the machine disappeared and this music video, dating its story, was released. It was hurt, it may still live.
Addendum:
May be hostile according to the video, it's not much to go off of, but don't go in guns blazing when you find it.
I want to note that I made this for no reason and though I enjoy the SCP fandom, I do not write SCPs and never have, this was my best try and it may not be great.

It's about someone who has literally turned himself into an arcade machine. After he is reported dead, he is found, mistaken for a normal gaming cabinet, and put in an arcane. He gains a following as an unbeatable game, eating "the occasional repairman" to sustain himself, but is eventually rendered obsolete by the advent of home consoles ("a little tiny box that they make in Japan"). Eventually, someone breaks in and robs the arcade, finally revealing that he was organic all along.

I know! So often with Neil Cicierega's music, I try to pick the song apart and figure out what it's a metaphor for, because the lyrics are too weird to be anything but figurative. But no. Straight-up 80s sci-fi creepypasta. Most of the album is pretty literal.
Some people have also theorized that this song was inspired by the urban legend of Polybius, which is also about an arcade game that drove people insane. The details don't match up super closely, though.

yeah, but what we know:
-there's a human in a arcade box
-children plays on the arcarde box
-robber comes and start to raid the place
-then the arcade box says : "i won't hurt you, unless you cheat" he hurt mentally when you cheat at the game, but when you cheat on the human inside the arcade box, he punish you physically (it's a theory, but i like it)
-so when the robber comes and beat the shit out of him, he get enraged, fix himself and fuck the shit out of them

So what happened is a person got stuffed into a videogame cabinet when the people who ran into him and brought him to the arcade, people thought HE was dead, he was played until new years eve, when he got vandalized, until they accedently made him bleed. They freaked out and ran. End.
