Vaseline was my first thought, randomly. I’m making custom cups with vinyl, and decided to add some rhinestones for extra wha-bam, and had the weird cloudiness appear on my cups. Ty for your tutorial!
Gun cleaner works as well. I use Hoppe's 9 lubricating gun oil, its a very small orange container. I don't know how or why it works but it's instant fix.
bonus guide on making windscreens and windows! That's brilliant. Also Hot Wheels blisters work really well since they have a range of curves and flat sections to choose from

I just made a neon sign and I have a haze where I used super glue. I thought my project was ruined. Nope, Magic Eraser! No joke! It’s not super abrasive and works well on the acrylic sheet. Saved the day! I cut it into smaller pieces to fit in between the gaps. Don’t use oil- it’ll dry up or collect dirt/dust.
I have not kept a model long enough to know how well it works over time. I've not put on paint either. I've been told BSI Gold super glue does not leave a glue haze like the MaxiCure Extra thick does.
Great question. I drill an 1/16th inch hole through the hood pin holes. Then use a 1/16th rod through the hood and pin holes to secure it. Works great!
Great question. At the time I shot this Facebook live did not allow landscape on my page. I now record all my videos in landscape. Until I upgrade tech I use my phone on FB live then download and upload here.

I started using Formula 560 which is like industrial Elmers glue. No more haze and it holds pretty well so far.
"Just a taste, a sniff, a whiff"
Wil this work on th body?
Thank you so much my headlight from the Ferrari f50 model looks brand new
Thanks a lot, you made my day.

You could have just said "Rub Vaseline on it with a Q-Tip." C'mon, maaaaaaaannnnnnnnnn.
I thought you video was about cleaning model glue of clear styrene plastic. Pop and water bottles are not styrene.
Thankyou thankyou im putting a revell bell huey helicopter and ran into the same problem. I will try this method myself and let you know how it works
I thought that you were working on a real truck😂😂😂
you used the wrong glue.
Use glue that doesn't create haze.

Awesome idea. Thanks for that. I keep a blister pack just for this purpose.

Ty it works 😱
Worked a treat! Thanks a lot!
Can you make me a gleaner combine and trailer please
Replied on another video.
Can you clean the Vaseline off of it afterwards? Or does it have to have a fill my vaseline on it?
There will be vaseline residue left on it. I've not attemted to remove it all.
This save my model thank you!
There was so much haze on ALL my windows so much so that you couldn't see the interior at all
Awesome! Glad it helped.
Maybe this has nothing to do with glue and more just oils in ur fingers
I'd Recommend using PVA glue as it doesn't haze scale model glass
Thanks for the video, I’m going to buy some petroleum jelly. One complaint/ request: Please make your videos in landscape
They are now. This is an older video when I was learning how to do things. Thanks for the comment and for watching.

This is actually what I was looking to clean up as well glad I saw this. thank you!!
Why wouldn't you use white glue ?
Yes it takes longer to set and clear out but it doesn't haze.
at the time I was not aware of it. Now I use formula 560 canopy glue. Problem solved.
@@RockinHFarmToys 👍
I'm here after I glued a wing to a corvette model and the haze spread to the windshield
👍
So how do I remove it from non clear plastic?
Amazing. Thank you
FINALLY MY ZOID IS FRESH AGAIN!
How long does the Vaseline last? Also does it damage painted die cast cars? Thanks.

@@RockinHFarmToys thanks dude
does this work on plastic models?
I would say yes. The windshield is plastic.
Bag Balm seems to have the same results.
Thanks for the info. That is helpful
What do you use for hood pins on DCP trucks if the originals are lost or destroyed?

Rockin H Farm Toys . Thank you as always!!
Why is this recorded in portrait mode?

Thank you
Shit didn't work at all u better off spray painting w clear coat
I quite using super glue on clear plastic in favor of Formula 560 Canopy glue. No haze ever.
This video could have been shortened to 1 minute thirty seconds...easily
Thanks.
