I like how Selene and Olivia run from that first cultist like there completely helpless only for it to be followed by Selene effortlessly breaking necks and taking out a load of armed cultists and Olivia takes on an army of monsters but that first guy when there together was too much to handle.
I like how they just used the stock Character Creator 4 character that comes with the software as the main character changed the default clothes and called it at day. This game should be called "Camellias Default Nightmare".

AI voices are getting scarily good. Honestly if the dev cared a bit more they could've spent more time messing around with the parameters to actually get the speech to sound right but obviously that's the least of the game's problems
Those AI synthesis videos of Dr. Breen from Half-Life, David Attenborough, or Joe Rogan all sound like the real people. They even get the pauses and inflections.
The baby spider head thing is so funny. Especially because you mentioned Sid’s toys. We’ve got a person locally out here who went to the dark side, harder drugs. Sometimes the joke gets brought up that they look just like that same spider baby. Ah.

I'm working on my first game for more that 2 years. Unreal 4, only free assets (each month they give 4 payed for free, so there is that) and i make the main char voice, and have 2 friends do the others. It's slow, but i'm gonna get it at least playable and fun for it's 3 hours of gameplay ahahahah
There's a line in the notorious House of the Dead 2's voiceover where a nearly-killed bystander, confronted with a zombie apocalypse, says "what's happened to this city?" in a tone of voice that suggests he's unhappy with the organisation of a local farmer's market. That's the vibe that the title "Selene's Unbearable Night" gives me.
The cover of Unbearable seemed kind of familiar, so I checked a few of my libraries and to my dread I had somehow picked this game up in a bundle or when it was given away for free on itch.
I remember talking to the developer on reddit about Selene’s model. Everyone was warning him to change her appearance, because she looked like Scarlett Johansson. Btw, I think only one dude from Mexico, is making these games.
The Main Character is almost the standard character that comes with an 3D software called Iclone 8. Even the hair is the same. All other human characters in this game are also from Iclone 7 / 8 and some are adjusted from Character Creator 3 and 4 (from Reallusion).

Dude Nightmare of Decay is so underrated. I played the survival mode way more than i should, the whole thing was surprisingly good. Glad to see you give it some exposure.
I think there are some nuggets of gold in this game. For starters some of the enemy designs look good and creepy. It does seem like this was a passion project. The reason why the mirror looks like a television it's because the mirror seems to be a plane put on the wall with a render texture on it (in case you don't know what that is, well it's a texture that renders what a camera sees. The reason why you can't see the monster it's because the monster game object has a layer, and you can set a camera to not see that specific layer, in this case the camera behind the main character.
Those characters look like someone exported the Daz Studio's models for those games, which would explain why they look that pretty and good, because Genesis models look good in general.
