I use the thermal serface cleaner and purifier from Arctic. It has lasted me a long time off the small bottles. You could maybe even use the cheap "99%" IPA then the Arctic serface purifier. One drop on a Q-tip does all the magic.
Just asking as I am about to do the same build tomorrow, and never saw this before. How did it auto boot connect to the network and get access like that? Is it some default with the board or setup before hand?
Idea for video: detailed ipmi reset for used China boards that don't have correct passwords on it. Nit that I can play right now. Power flickering seems to have killed my psu's on the truenas server I want to quit down. Fans are maxed out I think
No I have a price alert for new listings set on eBay and these never drop below 850. I got mine for 600 in apparently a freakishly good deal but I've moved in to eyeing up H13 combos now. DDR5 just seems like it holds a lot of potential for my use cases.
Do you think a machine with two AMD Epyc 7b12 would be good? Luckily here in Argentina I was able to find them for 750 dollars and I want to place the two processors on the Gigabyte MZ72-HB0 REV:1.0 motherboard@@DigitalSpaceport
It would be a monster no doubt. Top 10-20 multi socket system in the world for now. Able to crunch any data fast but single threaded performance won't be great do know
What's the use cases? If you are getting a board that can support the pcie4 lanes(you should imo), the 3990X is faster cores vs more threads in 7B12. Just comes down to what it's workloads look like.
@@DigitalSpaceport Im triying to build something for character creation for video games, and i need a lot of ram, but i think i should stick with my 5950x and just put some 128 gb maybe
I use UE5 and the 5950x is a great card. The GPU really handles a lot now so thats a better place to stick $$$ for that use case, might be the same for Blender also @@stormk-1130
What's the idle draw from the wall on these without GPUs?

Do you have a timestamp? I can't recall.
@@DigitalSpaceport Thanks but I figured it out. Sorry.
Hi, Can you do a Corona benchmark using this setup?
What motherboard model?
did you find the payout thing?
C7 according to MadMax git, is max for CPU decompression, which I'm doing jn my 11700k recompute host while GPUs're making replot.
I dont know how big of a C7 farm you can have with just CPU. How big is your farm and what CPU are you using?

Did you try a dual amd epyc 7b12? I want to make that team
