This was extremely helpful. Superb demo with excellent camera capture and your final thoughts helped me a lot. Thank you! I will stick with a 2-hole tip and master its use.
4-hole you want to place the tip down directly in the middle, the air should be going down from the corners and up along the walls. You do not want to angle it like you do with few holes.
Thank you for the video. I'm pretty good with 2 tips on my elizabeth but the 4 tip is very tricky to circulate the milk or inject air. Also it's super fast. I'm struggling for a week now. I will try your technique i hope it will help, because I always open it all the way immediately. Side note: please add more tags i was looking for lelit elizabeth 4 tips videos before buying mine and I didn't find any. And I found this video by coincidence 😅. Thank you 👍🏼
Thank you for the information, really useful. I have a La Marzocco Linea Mini and it has a 4 holes tip, and I really struggle to create micro foam that is good for latte art, what’s the best way to steam milk and get that silky smooth texture?
Hi! Very interesting video, I have Bianca, i was steaming silky smooth milk with 2 holes no problem ( standart temp, what comes from out of the box) I've changed to 4 hole tip, been practising over 2 months now, but i cant get that same silky smooth milk, i ve swiched back to 2 holes and its no problem. I was wondering if anyone have encountered same problem and if I should increase steam temp? I ve noticed for my Bianca its easier to maintain steam pressure with 2 (1.2-1.4 bar during frothing) holes than with 4 (drops to around 1bar during frothing)
@@gasalahmakan9614 Bianca comes with both tips - 2 holes and 4 holes, not sure about diameter, I came to conclusion thay 4 hole tip is better suited for bigger milk pitchers >500 ml
Hi I own a lelit elizabeth machine. When the coffee is extracted, the bar pressure rises to 12 bar. Is this normal or does it need to reduce the bar pressure to 9 bar?
Hi that is what the manufacturer set and that is ok. However many said 9 bar is the best, so feel free to experiment and see which one you prefer interms of taste. You can also set at 10 bars or 9.5? Adjust pump pressure in Elizabeth is so easy so go ahead and experiment and do let me know what is best for you and why?
Hi I know this is an old comment however I recommend to set it around 9.5-10 bars with the blind basket. Because vibration pump losses a bit of pressure during extraction. Unlike vibration pumps.
Thanks for sharing this video. I want buy an Elizabeth and I steam 300 ml every day with my old machine. Is the Elizabeth v3 coming with 2 holes or 4 holes in stock or may I must buy the accesory?
Very interesting video, one of the best so far that I've seen. Would you suggest lowering the Steam Boiler temperature if you use a 4-hole if it is too much power, or then better just keep the same temperature and go back to 2 holes? Like I'm wondering what would be best (Higher temp 2 holes vs Lower temp 4 holes). I feel like it would be the first example, and anyway I use a small pitcher and never froth more than 200ml of milk at once so I guess I'll keep my mom's Bianca V3 we just received this week to the stock 2 whole but I was wondering if I should set a higher steam temp than the stock 125C/260F, as what would be the advantage of a higher temp? Is it just to make it faster or it helps for micro-foam too because you can stretch the milk faster before it heats up so then you have more time spinning the milk? My Rocket R58 only came with 2x2 holes tips and Rocket doesn't do any 4 holes for mine. It's either the stock 1.4mm or smaller alternative 1.2mm which I've never tried in 3.5 years ^^

Thanks for the input, will try it
@@StefanusGoana Please make a video of it! My neew workplace uses 4hole tips and its tough...
Merci pour votre vidéo qui m'a éclairé sur ce point encore complexe à comprendre car je ne pratique pas le latte art tous les jours 😅
Fantastic video comparison. Superb work!

Thanks you very much for the explanation about 4 holes but I'm still finding it very difficult to draw

Just give it a try bro, play and have fun, destroy it then rebuild again if you have to. The machine is made for performance, congrats and enjoy 😎👍
Is it the same 4 hole tip used by the Bianca? Thank You.
Yes pretty sure it is the same
Hi. I have a Lelit Kate VIP, and found that it has a one-hole spout for the steam wand. Could I replace it with a three-hole spout?
Hi Lelit do not provide 3 holes tip for single boiler machine. I guess for now thats all you have
Is it the same size of the anna?
No you can't use this for anna
What was the steam boiler temp with the 2 hole tip
It was the same 145 degrees
