I saw Ryan as Raoul in Phantom, he was fantastic, and he said he one day wants to play the Phantom, I think he'd be great, baritones tend to bring more grit into the role!
Literally, one of the worst mistakes Broadway has ever made is taking Beauty and the Beast off Broadway. It was way too soon and was still doing well. I am fairly certain that if they brought it back, it would still be successful. And when they do, it should be Ryan as the Beast.
I misread the first sentence as the biggest mistake was bringing Beaty & the Beast TO Broadway and I was about to need therapy. I agree it could have had a longer run! Wonderful show and I love Ryan's version of this
This is excellent. His performance really captures that the Beast/Prince are the same character, and this song runs the gamut from existential crisis to ultimately resolution and hope. When he says offhanded in the interlude, "It was pretty deep," it slayed me.
XD on his intro, and "Beast Mode". No Terrence Mann (the original Broadway Beast), but he's lovely vocally nonetheless. He mixed up "hopeless" and "helpless", but otherwise perfect lyric recall.
sandy hsieh broadway show isnt running anymore. and the movie started production at least a year before it was promoted because they had to cast and block and do takes and things like that
Hate this. He turned it into a pop/nightclub song instead of actually singing it straight. The Beast needs to have a much richer sound. I wouldn’t cast him as the Beast- more Gaston.
all in favor of a Broadway Villain Party say "I"
YOU ARE THE GENIUS OUR GENERATION NEEDS
YES PLEASE
they already did that, didn't thhey? I saw a video of Nick Adams and another guy singing Gaston and the title said Broadway Villain Party :)
+Lauren Redding ah thank you! i try ;)+Violetta Sele I'll look that up!
Aye for that! Although, I think they did a Broadway (not Disney) villain party already.
"I"
One of the most criminally underrated songs in musical theatre
Man alive, this song gives me chills every time. A world without Alan Menken doesn't bear thinking about.
Stephanie Siu or a world without hans zimmer and John Williams

Savannah Gibbons 1100000000% agree
we shall see....
Good news from The future. They are bringing it back

@@jessbrannon_actoris it still here
Just want to know if that's Derek in the back yelling "Beast Mode!!!"
..who else, honestly

Wow, all I need now is to hear him sing 'Evermore' . THAT WOULD BE AMAZING.
Ingrid Nicolas yes pls!!!!!!!
OH...OHOHOHYES
That song is auto tuned shite
Adrian Arias which is exactly why we need to hear Ryan sing it in his glorious raw voice haha
Indeed, and set it at the beginning of the story..so that it is about the Enchantress and not Belle...that would be perfect.
Benjamin, love your piano playing on this song. Ryan is a fantastic vocalist!
Holy. Shit.
....that's about as eloquent as I can be after that. Chills.
Ah man, Ryan should be cast in a revival of The Secret Garden eventually. His voice is perfect for Lily's Eyes!
Chantel Vanderveen OMG YES!!! I just saw that show at Shakespeare theater and the guy was incredible! But Ryan would be so good too.
I've got chills!
This is by far my favorite version of this song. It seems others (even the broadway) are lacking something that Ryan does perfectly.
What an incredible voice.
Gorgeous voice!
I wish that Beauty and the beast will come back to Broadway. I will be vey happy if that were to happen
He made that look so effortless...
Best god damn song in the show

I noticed that too. But I think he did a good job.
Whoa, Terence Mann was the Beast? How did I not know this?? Now I need to find a bootleg of my Yellow Suit Man. (Sorry, horrible reference.)
This is enthralling.
💖 this song xxx
Love his voice as the beast
His voice is perfect for this song my gosh
oh yes prince Adam!
My fav!
imagine he's the one who sang evermore instead of dan 😍😍😍😍
Disney made a huge mistake not adding this song into the remake. Evermore was good, but this...this is such a beautiful song.
I adore his voice
Loved it
I loved this!
YASSS THIS IS PERFECT♡♡
Can someone please cast him in the movie or the Broadway show?? He's the perfect Beast/Adam~~
sandy hsieh broadway show isnt running anymore. and the movie started production at least a year before it was promoted because they had to cast and block and do takes and things like that
Bravo!!!!!
Are we sure it's too late to cast him in the movie?
TheSongwritingCat definitely. the movie started at least a year before it came out because casting and takes and blocking and other thjngs like that
Why in the world he plays Raoul??? He needs to be Phantom right now.
Great pity that this song was not in the movie.
I would LOVE to perform in a cabaret like this ❣️
I'd like to see Ramin Karimloo play the beast. That voice would just really slay all the songs.
Pulling it off!
your amazing voice l was think good job
Beautiful Beast!
¡Beautiful! 💖 💐 😍 😘 😭
Okay, I'd love to see him play the beast if Beauty and the Beast ever gets revived. Or Josh Groban.
He's such a tea drinking gentleman
I mean, he messed up the words, but still pretty damn good
Is it just me or is his sash a table runner?
Juliane Nguy lol maybe! I wouldn't be surpised!
A true baritone!
heres the beast for the revival

너무 잘한다
That is the lowest, deepest, richest voice I've ever heard! That baritone! I swear every note makes me swoon.
was he the beats at some point ?
😊/
This man needs to play javert
True.
stopped watching after he switched the lyrics up
It was one tiny mix up in the beginning of the song.
Hate this. He turned it into a pop/nightclub song instead of actually singing it straight. The Beast needs to have a much richer sound. I wouldn’t cast him as the Beast- more Gaston.
Could you please explain? I'm playing the Beast in a community theatre production soon, and I'm actually worried I don't sound as good as this guy.
ugh, jarring on the ear...
