Thanks for the video! Can I ask if you mount the soundbar, does the orientation of it gets flipped to the side? Meaning does the top firing speakers face you and the front speakers face downwards instead?
Hey! Your welcome It depends on how you mount it, it's intended to be mounted with the front speakers facing you. I briefly talk about mounting orientation in my unboxing video for this soundbar.
Honestly I can't say because I have not reviewed these soundbars, but I really enjoyed my experience with this soundbar the Bass and vocal clarity is great especially for the price.

Hey, yes but you won't be able to use Sonys S Center speakers (when the soundbar connects to the TV utilizing the TV'S speakers as well.) But it should sound great

Honestly, both soundbars are solid! The Bar800 has some killer features for movie nights, but it really depends on what vibes you're going for. What's your top pick so far?
@@davebanter I’m torn between the 2. The S80QR here in the UAE it relatively cheaper compare to B8OO. However the wires of S80QR satellites speakers is a bummer to me compare to the wireless of B800 which I can place anywhere without a wire but its more expensive🤦♂️ My soul purpose of buying soundbar is for watching movies, I like watching movies a lot. Listening to music in youtube sometimes.

i would like to buy this, but the fact that LG Forces me to download an app to get all the features is bullshit. went for Klipsch cinema 800 instead. Alot more powerful sound from that also

Imo it is, from my test lg soundbars are made better and last longer but to be fair i haven't tested the Q800c yet

@@AoT540 For a small space I would just go with the S80QY, the SC9S has the IMAX Enchanced. S80QY will be perfect and it comes in at a lower price.

How is the center channel for dialogue? I had an lg sn6y and the center channel was weak no matter how high.
The center channel was pretty effective in my test but I would look at the LG S65Q 1st, unless you really want the upfiring drivers of the s80qy
Is it better than Klipsch 600 5.1?
Probably not, being its only a 3.1 ch

This should compliment your TV well, but performance will be based on room size.
