Hi, one of the 2 bolts in wich the sword has to fit has broken so I need to replace it. I will better replace both but I don't know how to unmount the plate in wich they are fitted from behind. Should you help me with that please?
@@HillsidechristmastreefarmI'm assuming he's talking about the studs to mount the bar, I have no idea about that but must have been hell of tightening. I would think it would strip before that happens.
@@Hillsidechristmastreefarm looks like primer bulb just got busted somehow and rotten, amazon should have it here soon. I prefer stihl saws but it is a strong saw.
@Twisted timber woodworking I think a mouse was nibbling on my gas nipple. Chewed a chunk out of it. I used one more f my sons balloons to fix it. It just needs the vaccume to be sealed . I'm going to use a finger rubber next . I'm going to check on Amazon too. Did you find one?
A saw that size can kick like a mule. The brake feature is aggravating at times, but it may save you from getting your face ripped away. I always cut with my arms tightly extended and locked in place so that if kickback occurs the saw will tend to go up and over instead of toward the face. If the arms are bent the saw will likely come straight for your head. There are probably a few thousand ways to get hurt with a chainsaw of any size. There is living proof and non-living proof.
Thanks. This is how I thought it would work but as a homeowner, not a lumberjack, nice to see it done once by someone.
Glad to help
Good job man
Thanks I hope it helped
Nice video. Also....spray out the chain oil feed tube area with carb cleaner. Shove a toothpick down the tube hole.
Great tip!

On my 455 (2008) there is a silver retaining clip that holds the air filter in place.
Thank you for the comment
He snapped it on.
I've had mine for 13+ years, took the chain brake off and put on an Oregon skip chain. Destroys Idaho trees. Try it. 💥
I'll give it a try thanks for the tip!!
My dad gave me his 455, getting ready to replace chain and use it, gotta change primer bulb.
interesting. Did it wear out and rip?

Very true. We have bought a replacement cover since then. Not worth injury.
