Actually I remember reading that people who are in shape sweat more lol. So being sweaty is a good thing. But ya, probably not a good wardrobe choice for filming 🤷🏻♀️🙈😁
not the sweaty pitts n the vest though LOL!!! oh this is sooo funny & HELPFUL wow thx! i knew i wasnt the only crazy one thinkin about bringin my bands into the office
With all this working at home, I'm looking forward to fitting this into my routine. I think there is a misconception of using this in replace of a trip to gym, but I'm certain it's meant to be in addition or for those days where there isn't time to get the gym. A good way to break up hours of sitting. Thanks.
It's also better than nothing. There's a misconception about being lazy because you're in an office chair all day... it's actually exhausting because the body gets weaker by doing this all day. A lot of people get out of their office chair and go home and have enough energy to cook, eat and sit on the couch. By doing this you can work yourself up to having more energy at the end of your work day to start fitting in a workout routine. This type of stuff also helps posture at your desk which helps dramatically as well.
He should suggest to use anti-perspirant as well. Wow did you catch his armpit sweat, that'll be me in the office 😅. Gotta keep that dry because there's no office shower 💪
This doesn't make much sense. You better off just stand up and walk some in every hour, even if you just go to the toilet and back worth more than this. Explanation: doing these exercises on these small muscles 1. you won't grow any muscle because it's too easy 2. you won't get much benefit in terms of bloodflow because these are small muscles. This is basically self-deception. On the other hand if you stand up and walk you instantly get more bloodflow everywhere.
the point is not to grow muscles, is to move them. That's the exercise. It is in no way self-deception. It is a small cardio workout. If you do it at least once in the 8 hours (typically) of your office job, it is way better than not doing it. I do think he should have added that you should get up and walk because none of those exercises include legs.
@@superharryboy But the problem is moving your shoulders and biceps doesn't do much bloodflow because they are small muscles. Rather do 10 pushups, 10 squats and 10 pullups, that will move your blood if you want that and it can be done in 1 minute. Or if you can't do pullups just do the torso twists and some movings with your neck, those two are the problem areas if you are sitting all day.
This could only be sensible if your office has a shower or you do your workout just before going home for the day. I am athletic and much in favor of taking exercise. But sitting at a desk and exercising is no way to get anything aerobic and frankly who wants to hear explosive grunting as you try to lift the nearest filing cabinet anaerobically? Don't do this and then tell yourself you have gotten good exercise, because you can't. You need 15 preferably 30 minutes of elevated heart rate at 80% of max capacity (which capacity is age dependent). Maybe if your office chair were an exercycle. It's not.
That's absolutely not the case. This is solid for people who actually have things to do after work and can't get out to exercise. Congrats on not having responsibilities.
All of these work outs are for the upper body which really doesn’t help your lower body much when your sitting most of the day . 🤦🏾♀️ Plus I would say working out at your desk once a hour is a bit excessive ..........if someone has time to be working out each hour then they most not really be working very much . Personally I think it would be more realistic to work or do desk yoga maybe before ur shift, during your lunch, and after your shift .🧘🏾♀️🏋🏾♀️ Lastly being the sweaty smelly person in the office isn’t attractive on any level .💦
The fact that you are sweating it means it works. I just got finished and it feels good. Thank God I have a fan. Thank you!
I love this dude, he's very charismatic
Him sweating through is comedy gold
People sweat... whats funny about it?
That's all I could think of. Why are they acting like this is ok? Hehe
@@jzk2020 because you CANT be sweaty in front of clients or in the office in general
And sweating in your suit ??? No thanks
These exercises shouldn't really make you sweat. Idk, why he's sweating that much.
@@jadexige Because the lights in a filming studio are hot.

This isn't going to make you sweaty. I do some of this at work. I even walk for some of this.

Ok but is there a way to workout while I'm laying in my bed
subscribe For me
Of course it is...it's called sex!!!
Yes! You can do abs, legs, hips and some arm exercises while laying down,
leg raises
Bed pilates!! 🛌 it's a thing
How to be musty at work...
the ankle socks😩
Jesus, the bar for what passes as exercise these days is low
Sedentary life is so big that this is way much better than nothing
I don't think it's meant to replace going to the gym.
But adding to that. A good alternative for days you can't fit in going to the gym.
Ahahah for real,, “fit” like bro you have NO legs compared to your arms
Literally exercises, words have meaning 🙄
He has the brightest smile and the sweatiest pits.
I guarantee his back and under his three piece are both sweaty messes too and I bet he smells terrible
Doctor Oz isn’t exactly a good credential. But good video

Bad advise. Just wake up 30m earlier and do 15M HIIT .... be the best version of yourself people
😂 Kudos to you got me @WSJ... If not for the watery pits I wouldn’t thought it was a real video. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 way to go all out to sell it though!!!
This is doable I can do this a minimum of 2x a day while at work.
I’d rather not sweat every hour at work. I imagine every coworker will appreciate that. #PantsSoupKitchen
I do mine by playing diablo 3 for 1 week straight.

this man understood the assignment. 😎🤘
Can’t take motivational speakers... chill! I’m stressed just listening!😭
Cool concept, but mostly seems like stretches.
Try doing this during a presentation.
This video about office exercise is definitely great, however, he could've worn an undershirt to at least cover up that sweat mark.

Hummmm.... you’re sweating sir....
aren't trunk twists bad for you?
I really can identify with his sweaty armpits!
And um.. what if u don’t have arms?
But i don't have any abs
Working out in my suit? No thanks, but I'll pass
This is BS. There is no substitute for good exercise. Everyone can find 30 minutes a day to be active.
